Congrats on the 3:1 win against Lovetsch!

Unfortunately I didn't watch the match ... but I heard that Guerrero scored 2 amazing goals!

VdV being injured does really hurt HSV. Almost tragically, I hope they don#t go done as far as they did last season.

Well, that's what happens when you make your entire offense dependent on one guy......

That's not entirely true. We still have Guerrero, who played well recently; and Zidan could maybe also fill the gap. This can give Zidan the opportunity to show what he's got.

But true it is a blow if vdV and de Jong are both missing.

Do you think VdV will leave in the winter break?

If so they should get good money for him and try to grab Zenit's Andrei Arshavin. Great player.
I'd love 96 to get him but I'm afraid he's already way too good and expensive for us.

From what I have heard there's a good chance Guerrero will miss the game too.

From a Stuttgart fan's perspective all this is very good news.

Its possible, but I doubt it. After his recent comments about wanting to leave, he made another statement that he wouldn't leave mid-season. I think any club making a bid in January would have to pay a hefty premium for HSV to let him go at that point. Chelsea could be desperate enough to do so, but a lot of clubs would simply wait until summer when the price will be less and he won't be cup-tied in Europe.

Hattrick from Olic! Wow! ;)

Congrats on this impressive 4:1 home win over the champion Stuttgart! Didn't expect this when I noticed that Van der Vaart didn't play...

Very nice win for Hamburg. Been waiting for Olic to finally breakout - never seemed like he managed to do a whole lot prior to this point. Hopefully he stays in form now.

Not all hope is lost for you guys. Confidence is the main problem. Maybe a coach change will be necesary over the winter break. But I think the problem really doesn't lie in the incompetence of the coach, like Doll last year. :o

Tell you what he's definetly a good reserves coach. This is really not meant to be an insult on his behalf, because he delivered some good work as a reserves coach in Hamburg.

Veh has done such great things for us, and I remember before he did any of it I wanted him out before he really had a chance... how wrong I was to want that at the time. So i'm trying to stick clear of calling for a coaching change and I hope he'll be able to turn things around again...he's definitely capable of it.

But, having said that, if we're still in the lower half of the table come winter break, which is very possible, we may have to part ourselves from him. We'll see.

It looks like Watzke wants to extend him as coach. Seems he and Zorc had a little "power struggle" and it seems Doll has won.

But I think this is something we should discuss over at the BVB sub-forum......

a real beauty of a goal by company . I think this guy’s future could be in midfield.
