Not really. Not after watching them flounder in the drop zone for much of the season. And the forray into the CL wasn't all that memorable either.

UEFA is suspecting the result to have been manipulated. Betting companies have noticed that in Asia large sums have been put on a HSV win with a 3 goals difference minimum even though the quote dropped significally (1.85/1):

Not completly unfounded IMO. Budapest did play remarkably bad, including one own goal. And the defenders' reactions also looks a bit suspicios to me. I mean, look how 2 of Honved's defenders scratch their heads after their teammate put the ball into their own net. Don't know the English term for it but the German one is Übersprungshandlung, when you act strangely because of an inner conflict.

Yup and Thomas Doll's days are counted from now in Dortmund. I never really had faith in that guy being a good coach. Even as he coached well Hamburg. You should just listen to him talk, and you know he is missing a few braincells. Really doesn't have what it takes to be a good first team coach. He misses good tactical knowledge, only plays the same system every game. His press handling is bad always says the same thing every game. However, he is a good motivator and friend of the players. In Hamburg they let him coach that long, because he was faithful being an old player.
I'd say he's good as a 2nd team coach. As he showed at HSV.
