Old season is over. Heres the new Thread for all Transfers and News concerning the Eagles.
HERE (http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=360794&page=21) is the one from last season...
Not much happened so far.
Streit still wanting to move. Apparetnly Schalke hasnt come up to our officials tough. So sais Bruchhagen anyways...
Kyrgiakos will probably leave as well... Not sure yet tough.

Eintracht signed japanese defensive midfielder Junichi Inamoto today.
Good signing imo. He should be more than able to replace "Fussballhure" Jones. Dont know too much about him, but if I got it right he is a defensive midfielder, with an ability to lead the game from the back!? Any info is appreciated!
Seems like a well-experienced guy tough who can surely help us...
I guess that means we will stick eith the "double 6", that being Preuss and Inamoto preferably...
Also its nice for the "sushi-bomber" to get some company! :)
No news yet in the "Streit-case"...
would be hilarious if Schalke doesnt want him after all.

I'm a fan of Galatasaray and all of my friends and me are happy for this transfer.he never takes a risk on the pitch, the only thing that he has done is taking the ball and passing to another player.his deffence not bad but his offence is average.he would play more effectively if he play as an offencive midfielder.but you dont expect him to take a game for you.he tries to do his job but not more. I hope he shows a better performance for you.

Well, then I hope that his friend Takahara-san can help him get back on track!
Takahara was the same way in Hamburg... Expectations are a little lower here in Frankfurt, maybe that will help Inamoto too...
I like the concept of having groups of foreigners. This way they feel more comfortable and it especially helps if one of them doesnt speak the language (as in Kyrgiakos case last year, Inamoto this year)...
2 Greeks, 2 Swiss, 2 Makedonians, 2 Japanese...

Both names have been mentioned in the "Gerüchteküche", but that means nothing... I could imagine them having an eye on Polanski... wouldnt be a surprise... I pray to god that they dont have one on Insua!!

Not a bad signing imo.
Itll be interesting to see what happens in Streits case now. Doesnt seem like Schalke is all that interested in him...

Is he really such a "Charakterschwein"?
Most definitely!
I dont have time to go on about it right now, but this whole schalke-story is stupid enough and a prime example.
I think some people from Cologne and Wolfsburg could tell you some storys aswell...

Supposedly we were going to get a new home jersey... Nothing official tough, so I guess we will stick with last seasons...

So according to Streits Manager Gerster (who is btw commonly known as "der schwarze abt" in Frankfurt) and Eintracht Manager Bruchhagen, Streit will definitely stay here for next season. Bruchhagen also saied that there will most probably be no more transfers apart from Huggel leaving to Basel.
Albert will have to pull a 180 and think about what he wants. I honestly think that Funkel is consequent enough to leave him out if he doesnt give 100%.
I dunno what to think. Id rather have seen him leave to be honest...
So I guess this is our team for next season:
Goalkeeper: Markus Pröll, Oka Nikolov, Jan Zimmermann
Defence:Patrick Ochs, Alexandar Vasoski, Christoph Spycher, Sotirios Kyrgiakos, Marco Russ, Mounir Chaftar
Def.Mid: Christoff Preuss, Chris Maicon Henning, Michael Fink
Midfield: Mehdi Mahdavikia, Junichi Inamoto, Albert Streit, Benjamin Köhler, Alexander Meier, Markus Weissenberger, Faton Toski, Kreso Ljubicic
Forward: Ioannis Amanatidis, Naohiro Takahara, Michael Thurk, Marcel Heller
Highlighted the players that I would expect to start for the first matches.
Seems allright to me, as long as everbody stays fit and healthy for a change. The potential is definitely there, to avoid another relegationbattle and maybe pull a Nuremberg... But so much can happen, so we will just have to see.
