There are the highlighs, that being Diegos stupidity and Amanatidis' nice goal.
I love the commentator... "ANAMATIDIS...!" :D

(Diego was the best Eintracht player :p)!

Lol, yes it wasn´t clever, but i would say Nikolov was the best Frankfurt player.

Anyway, congrats to Frankfurt.

It's really amazing how easily the "bear" Kyrgiakos went down after that slight body check from the "flea" Diego...;)

Comical is how I viewed it.

Honestly, I said it before in the Werder Forum. Its not like Diego is a little kid. Hes an athlete and therefore probably has a bit of strength. I wanna see you guys staying on your feet if that guy rams his shoulder into your chest with full force...
Bundesliga Players have "gone down" by far less body contact before...

I don't like what people are saying and I cannot "judge", but am only going from what people are saying.

I've only seen the body check and I have to agree with "Doc_Aeppler" at least on that part of it. Diego did hit Kyrgiakos pretty hard. That was no "slight body check." I'm much bigger than Kyrgiakos and that body-check would have at least staggered me.

So, I don't blame Kyrgiakos for going down, but I do believe he milked it to help get Diego sent off.......

Of course, you know Diego could have been a little less stupider

We also know that Krygiakos is a bit of a character. I don't care, I still quite like him.

That doesn't justify the Krygiakos milking of the incident. Diego was going to be sent off anyhow. Krygiakos didn't need to writhe like he'd been shot.

I didn't say I don't like him anymore. His wasn't so bad. What Ribery did last night was disgraceful.

That I agree on. Still was a rediculous overreaction by Bremen... And Sotos is a hard but fair player. His stats definitely prove that.

Im finally back in civilization (that being Buenos Aires) after a while in Bolivia and just got to check two games at once!

After the apparently unlucky 1-1 agaisnt Bochum, Eintracht easily takes 3 points out of KA today. It reads like it was a very clear game (and my cousin, KSC-Fan, said the same thing) with a dominating Eintracht that should have won much higher... Well, 1-0 is fine for me! :)
That leaves both teams at satisfying 36 points, which basically mean almost 100%nonrelegation. And that with 10 games to go. When did that happen the last time?!?!?

Next week Cotbus is to come to the Stadtwald of Frakfurt. Should be a clear 3 points, but we all know games liek that...

Weve actually been in that same region of the table pretty much the entire season... ^^

Eintracht is a serious power in the Waldstadion this season! 24 Points at home, thats even 1 more then Bayern!

Nice to see that Caio is starting to set foot too. I like how they let him take his time to integrate and get used to everything! Cant ask for 100% right away in a young brasilian.

Weve got some "harder" games coming up now, in Leverkusen and Hannover and at home against Nuernberg and Bayern. See how we can go through these...

Just 2 points away from spot 5 after tonight's win over Cottbus. Kudos!

Congrats guys. Strong comeback. Way to pick up Nikolov after his mistake.

That's the sign of a good and close team!

3 games later, 3 losses after allways going up 1-0 with an early goal... the season is basically over! Too bad, we really had a chance there to reach an international spot, but its all good. We arrived in Bundesliga Midfield this season, and seeing the team, and how much potential is still there, I think chances are good that we will stay there for a couple of years or even move farther up...
A victory against Dortmund would be good tough to ensure we dont slip out of the one-digit yone by the end of the season!

And on a personal note: Im finally back home and will be back in the stadium on friday! woohoo! :)

It's a shame, but you surely can't expect from your guys to finish ahead of Stuttgart & Leverkusen. I think you are realistic enough about this, Doc. How you mentioned, this young team needs some more experience & consistency. Nevertheless, you're playing a very good season!

Btw: What's up with Fenin lately?

What a relief to see you well back from that interesting "adventure"! :) I really appreciated your reports & great pics ... and can't await to buy your book about this great voyage! ;) Please tell me when it's ready:-)
