And yeah, things are really looking good right now. Relegation is far away and there's even a possibility of claiming an UI-Cup spot. :)

Nice poem, dear Mexican! ;)
Congrats on the win and Fenin's 4th goal in the 2nd game. Really impressive!

Eintracht signed German U-National-player Markus Steinhöfer from Austria Salzburg!
He will join us this coming summer for 3 years! Pretty good move imo, especially in case that Spycher leaves... (which isnt certain yet)
Fenin 20 years
Caio 21 years
Steinhoefer 21 years
What potential!

I really like Friedhelm Funkel and Eintracht's transfer policy of the last years! Your image of a "Chaos-Klub" is definitely forgotten, I think (we took it from you for the time between 2003/04 and 2006/07).

Is it wierd that I miss the old "Chaos-Klub" in some way?!
Somehow I love all these ridiculous storys, about coaches being fired after the first matchday, or by notes that got thrown through their toilet-windows, about fistfights on the stage of the "Jahreshauptversammlung", about losses against Wattenscheid, only days after literally ripping apart Bayern...
Then again, Im sure all that will be back soon enough. :D

As a New Orleans Saints fan I always enjoy the few great seasons we have, but I always know the norm will return sooner than I ever want.

What a day....
First I wanted to go to a footballgame at Cruz Azul (Galindos former club) here in Mexico City, but they wouldnt let me in to the stadium because I brought my freakin digicam.... And I thought german Security guards were bad... then I go back to the hostel, look at the internet and see 1-0 Rostock.... Well, what can you say, Rostock... Its a Trauma and I guess it will never end.... :(
F*ck it. well just have to win against Bremen now, not like thats a big problem
It sucks to wake up out of a beautiful dream...
Then again, its probably better for us to come back to reality. But who cares?! Damn reality!
:D
(yes, I had a few cervecas before writing this)

You better forget what had happened there under Stepi in the early 90's ... and better enjoy your great time in Mechico! ;)

I don´t rate your chances so bad. We are the only BL team with away
legs in UEFA-cup (starts at 10:30 PM) and a BL and get a Saturday match. Thank you, DFL.*
Furthermore it´s tough to play in Frankfurt.
Anyway i hope as always for a good match. :)
Not that it looks like whining, Bayern had the same problem when they
played at Braga, but my point is, that nobody at the DFL seems
to have a brain or is able to use it.

What about Nürnberg (Thursday night in Lisbon, Saturday afternoon in Bremen)...

They all get screwed like that at least once. There is nothing they can do to make the schedule "fair" except actually rescheduling some of the matches of the UEFA Cup/CL Participants as they do in England.
But the DFL doesn't want to mess with "tradition."
I say f#ck tradition and reschedule all of their matches to make it fair.

It's not about tradition this time, it's about the TV contracts, ARD is paying for six games to show on Saturdays. It wouldn't have been fair to change during the season.

Yes, sure, some day you suffer by it, some day you profit.
But the problems remains.

Ah, ok, and the UEFA-cup matches can´t take place
on tuesday or wednesday, because of the CL.
Mmh, difficult one. Maybe at the next tv contract there they could
let one Saturday match start at 8:00 PM and show it at ARD (or another free-tv channel).
This solves the problem a bit, increase the number of viewers for the channel at that time
and i think many fans in the stadium would also like an additional flood light match.

None of that is settled yet.
And it is very easy to adjust the schedules. If the Premiership can work with Sky, the DFL can work with Premiere/ARD or whomever else might have what.
I'm pretty sure Frankfurt fans would benefit from it with a couple of more night matches in that pretty stadium of theirs.
Hey guys, did they change the wooded area across the highway from the stadium?
I remember getting lost out there looking for my car one night after a Sunday night Bundesliga match between Eintracht and FCN. Took me nearly 30 minutes to find the damned car! LOL!!

wooded area?! you mean the waldparkplatz?! no, nothign has been changed there, except for the new bridge that was built for the world cup tough... its still chaos after every game :p
and screw saturday night matches!
PRO 15:30!!
we lived with it last season, so can all other teams. Its not gonna kill anyone to play two games within 48 hours. if so, they are free to withdraw from the uefacup and let anoher team play :p

Wow, 1:0 home win over Werder Bremen (Diego was the best Eintracht player :p)! Congrats!!! Your guys are really strong lately.
And who scored? Well, my friend Janni (I've had so many nice conversations with him during his time in Fürth). :)
