Saw this in the Post. Looks like our beloved stadium won't get the shaft after all.

I saw the Italian Super Cup at RFK in 1993 (I believe) between AC Milan and Torino. Torino was either the Italian Cup winner or runner-up and Milan had taken the scudetto.

It was a pretty boring game, I think 1-0 for Milan. Torino hit the crossbar with a freekick and Raduicioiu looked good but I don't remember much else.

Posh will be busy shopping at Springfield Mall during the match.

It's good news and bad news.

Good news:

Easier to get there from work on a Wednesday night.

Bad news:

FedEx's inability to pull this off probably gives DCU less leverage when negotiating with RFK.

I've heard one of the sticking points was that Fedex wanted to charge $6 A PERSON for parking.

I don't see how this effects DCU at all, I can't see DCU ever playing at Fedex even if we do need a temporary home.

Charging parking per person is possibly the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

Hard to believe the DCSEC didn't think of it first, huh?

Does this mean I can't charge people $5 to hide in my trunk now?

You might want to consider letting them out now.

Of course not. They save $1 by hiding in the trunk (if they hide well).

Yes, one half for each team.

Which team gets his bottom half? -Oh wait, that would be Victoria...

I am looking forward to laughing at the ticket prices tomorrow. Top price is going to be $125 but that includes access to a training session.

For a $2+ surcharge last year I got to park my brand new car in a field and walk a mile to see Jimmy Buffett. This is why I'll never go to Nissan again, even if God himself comes down to deliver his final sermon, for one night only.

Really. I just gave up comp seats to Santana on Saturday, not that I have anything better to do.

Thx,

Jay!
