and why would klose want to go to bayern??
The only thing I can think of is to play with Podolski.....
Thatīs no strong reason IMO. But i know another: $$$
Anyways, fact is, that good players can earn much more money
in the big 3 leagues than at BL sides. And i donīt only mean top clubs,
even midfield tables in the EPL have much more money (luckily most
of them are too stupid to invest it clever).
Thatīs why i can understand Klose and Frings, who look for a big deal
at the peak of their career. Sure, as a footie fan this pi** me off,
they donīt emerge with credit from their behaviour, but i can understand it.
Both want to go abroad, but at Miro there it seems like, no (in his opinion) appropriate club made an official offer so far and so he checks other options. Thatīs his right, but he should think wise about it.

well, it's only football so it's not like he can't go back on his word and go to bayern..
Did anyone say he couldn't? I said I'd be disappointed in him for doing it. I didn't say he coudn't.
personally I don't want him to. I think barcelona are a better choice.
Not if Barcelona don't come for him and have a spot in the starting lineup. Miro isn't going to go to Barca to sit on the bench just to avoid going to Bayern.
any other clubs you think are in contact?
Juventus are still rumored, but I honestly think there's a rift between Klose and Frings and if Frings goes to Juve, Miro won't consider them.
I don't think there are any other clubs in contact at the moment, but if he doesn't make a deal with anyone before the end of the season, which I doubt he will, I think more will enter the race.
Just off the top of my head, I'm thinking AC Milan and Arsenal. If they both make it back to the CL.
Also, if the rumors of Chelsea chasing Klinsmann are true, I would not be surprised to see them make Bremen a huge offer for Miro.

Yep. I said in another response that Bayern would pay him more than he's worth......

yeah, barcelona have to give him a starting place. I dont think they'd buy him though as anything but a starter. so if they can't play him as a starter, they won't buy him i reckon

Depends on whether they actually sell Eto'o and what Gudjohnsen does.
Rumor has it Gudjohnsen wants to return to England.

unless they plan to play 2 strikers.
if eto'o goes and gudjohnsen stays i think klose will arrive to play as the starter or to rotate with gudjohnsen

bild is just a pro bayern tabloid. They could be making this out of proportion. Maybe he received an offer from bayern, and he's just listening. I can't see him go to bayern...

Kicker is all over it today. I don't think this is anything "Bild" is just blowing out of proportion.
I can't see him going there either, but players always change their minds.
Hopefully, it's a ploy to get more money out of Werder, but I think he's truly exploring all his options.
Let's hope he scores three goals tonight to try to get more money out of Werder too!! :D

very sensitive of Bayern Munich to meet with Klose
the evening before Werder flights to a UEFA semi-final ...
... mmh, wait, i can´t expect Bayern to be sensitive,
because from their actual squad only a few know how it is to play such matches.

It just shows again how much Bayern really cares about german football. Hoeneß and Rummenigge are just two loudmouths without even the slightest bit of class and honor.

First half wasnīt good by us.
Espanyol played a good fore-checking, many Werder players
were a unconcentrated and so there were many bad passes.
There were good chances by Frings, diastance shot and another
after a Frings cross, when Klose and Diego both missed, but
the Spaniards also had very good chances, especially after
corners and by distance shots.

Outcoached and outplayed. Disgraceful performance for the german football.

ok calm down there big guy. to be fair...yes they were outcoached and outplayed. But there is still a leg to be played, things look bleak, but nothing is impossible, Werder can definitely do 3 goals, whether or not they can keep Espanyol an away goal is a completely different matter, because they were quite shocking in the back really, and now that Wiese is toast for the next game...

Werder need a minor miracle to qualify.
It'll be possible. But very unlikely.

Not with the players, who were today on the pitch.
Not with this ...
You can loose matches, but you must fight against it.
Thatīs all i want, but today it was not Werder, this was the Ribbeck NT.

Out-coached, out-worked, out-played.
Pulling this off is not impossible but it will be damned hard. Damned f#cking hard......
And before anyone asks where my team is, I'm a BVB fan and we're neck deep in the relegation battle.
And I happen to think that Bayern fan (DI) was right.
Doesn't mean Bremen can't turn it around.
