Rosenberg had a really good game... who needs klose :D

Schaaf looked like a genius after he puts on Jensen and Rosenberg for Baumann and Vranjes (they were both playing well, especially baumi) And they both score 15 minutes later!

klose does so well to create chances for himself and then missed all of them.

the jensen goal was beautiful

Amazing goal by Diego!! They showed 3 slow-motion replays from different angles on GolTV. That will make a lot of highlight shows. The look on the Aachen keeper's face was priceless...

Question -

If Frings and Klose leave after this season, what will your starting XI look like?

Depends on the followers for them. ;)

But the tactical formation will most propably stay at 4-1-2-1-2.

If it was the current squad with no additions, it would be -

------(?)------
(?)--------Borowski
----Diego-------
----------------
--Hunt--Rosenberg--

Yes, could look like this:
-----Baumann/Vranjes-----
-Jensen------Borowski
--------Diego------------
--Hunt--Rosenborg

But some transfers will be done.

btw:
I am not so sure, that Miro really leaves.

IMO he should stay at Bremen, because there he has a good
environment to feel well and play good football.

At Frings i am not so optimistic, but the above points count for him aswell.

But currently it is more important, that the teams concentrate on
making a good season finishing.

So if they both leave, you need a striker, a midfielder, and a DM? Or is DM set with Vranjes, Niemeyer, and Baumann?

And Andreassen, who is loaned to Mainz.
So at DM there are some options.

But, yes, if both leaves, obviously Werder will look for a striker
and a midfielder, who can boost the game.

he always said that he wanted to play in Bremen. I think if we can guarantee him a starting position he would come back. But if not , i don't think he'll come back... Especially if Mainz stays.

Zidan Wants Permanent Werder Exit!

Date: 22-12-2006
Wrote by: EP's editor Islam Issa

Mohamed Zidan has himself revealed that he wants to leave Werder Bremen, to a club that believes in him.

Earlier this week, Werder Bremen's manager Klaus Allofs had admitted that there is a big possiblity of Zizou departing in January, particularly for a loan. Now, the striker has spoken of his desire to leave, but on a permanent basis.

"The problem at Bremen is that I'm not playing a lot, so I'm open to all possibilities," said Zidan to ViasatSport.

"The most important thing is that I join a club where I get to play," he continued, before adding that he would prefer to be sold as opposed to loaned out again.

"I'd prefer not to get loaned out again. I'd rather join a club that pays for me, and believes in me."

Zidan has not seen much action this season with Werder Bremen, though he had a successful loan period at fellow Bundesliga club Mainz. Now, serious interest in the Egyptian is being shown by another German outfit: Hannover 96, who are expected to put an offer in for the former Danish Player of the Year.

One thing is for sure: there will be much interest in Zidan over the coming weeks...

Ok, he moved then to Mainz, but his statements stay.
In Germany there is a saying, don´t know the exact translation,
but it goes like this: "You shouldn´t try to adhere travellers".

They aren't going to sell the entire team. They might sell Klose and Frings, but I don't think they're selling Diego.

Plus, I already read a headline somewhere that suggested Diego's agent has already denied any interest from Real or in Real.

Just got back from Australia and I'm having a hard time catching up with the news from the last 6 weeks.

Personally I don't think Frings is determined to leave Bremen as well. He just uses Juve to put some pressure on Allofs for his new (last) big contract. So I bet he will get more money and stay in Bremen.
