from the "Bundesliga Fashion" thread. Now that is a jersey!!

of course that is a dream but beck's will probably not become our mainsponsor. :( Werder has a habit of getting ugly sponsors (KiK!!!, Youngspirit, We Win with the black square)

But can it be any worse than this???

I hope Nike does something next year. This was just nasty to look at - combo; logo and jersey. On it's own, the jersey is not so bad.

But that´s not Werders fault. Beck´s doesn´t want to sponsor football
so much, because they want to be seen as a lifestyle brand,
not only a football beer. Furthermore the brand is well known
and the owner isn´t located in Bremen, so (sadly) why should they sponsor?

In the last years Werder had always companies as sponsors,
that want to grow. Younspirit (Reno) was my favorite of them,
that was really a cool sponsor name. :)

Hey!

I'm new to this forum so I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a Werder Bremen supporter from Germany. I was in a different forum for many years but I had a tough time supporting a German team so I joined this one.

I think Beck's would make a good sponsor but they are already known throughout the world and the company is now Belgian so I don't think they'll ever be our sponsor. But I believe if our success story continues there'll be a lot more cool sponsors around.

Unfortunately the succes story will end this saturday :D

Im just kidding, Im not really expecting a lot. Im sure your team will be on fire and very willing to take their last chance... so yeah, it will be a very hard game for us...
But heck, as long as Aachen and Mainz dont win, I would gladly hand you the 3 points so that Werder can hopefully overtake Schalski...
And maybe in the end we all have a reason to celebrate :)

Anybody know how long it takes from the main train station to the stadium?

Frings has extended his contract through 2011 for €4M a year. Nice to hear that, the league needs to keep its domestic starlets.

Shocking news to be honest, I thought he was good as gone. Good news. :)

Albert Streit might also be going to Bremen.

I don't blame Frings from hating Italians lol! Weren't they behind the tape of Frings punching the argentine player that kept him from playing the semis at the world cup?

Good for you guys. He's a hypocritical asshole, but he can play.

What about Andreasen now??

Frings will probably stay where he is and Andreasen can come replace Baumann when he is ready.. that's what i think.

Good news about Frings though. Looks like we'll have the same team (maybe even better) next year. Too bad klose has to stay.

Very good news. :)

But i still don´t know, why Frings did all the stuff.
Perhaps he wanted to take some pressure from Klose.

Too bad klose has to stay.

That´s not clear IMHO (unless he extends), but let´s see.

What about Andreasen now??

Andreassen is a versatile player,
he can also play defense midfield
or central defense back-up.

And the next good news, Naldo extended his contract until 2012. :)
