didn't you see the World Cup against Tunisia, Vfb?

or is this another case of me missing the sarcasm? ;)

No, i honestly never remembered him diving ever.

Then again, i also didn't remember the game against Tunisia :)

If he falls in an awkward way he could surely break his neck. So the 2nd picture for me.

And that is the correct answer! congratulations, you won :D

Also there is a chance of neutral people like me watching the game, to laugh at this horrible dive so hard and long that they forget to breath or get a heartattack!

That would be 2 dead people. 2 more than flairs have ever killed...

It must be said though that i seriously don't remember ever hearing of anyone getting badly harmed by flairs ever. It's just silly that so many people are against them. Whatever.

Does getting so angry that Klose did something so f#cking stupid it causes a heart-attack count? :D

And it is amazing to me that all the Werder fans here see that fans of other teams who were cheering for Werder to pull off the miracle all acknowledge that Klose himself is to blame, yet these guys still wish to blame the referee.

And it's even more amazing to me that some here are claiming Klose didn't dive when it was plain as day and Klose himself admitted to diving after the match.

I sure hope the team isn't dwelling on this as much as the fans are. If the team is doing so, then kiss those title hopes goodbye.

Flares are part of a culture of violence surrounding soccer, as can be seen by the following quote:

http://www.iht.com/articles/2007/02/04/sports/soccer.php
"This follows, in case you had not heard, the death of a police chief inspector, Filippo Raciti, while he was on duty in Catania on Friday. A man of 38, married with two children, he was killed when an explosive was thrown into his face as he directed operations from a police car during rioting at the Catania-Palermo derby match in Sicily.
The explosive was first reported to be a homemade bomb. Later that was corrected, and it was said to be one of those powerful rocket flares that in most countries are criminally outlawed, but in Italy are still part of the scenario of fan exuberance."

Actually, people have been harmed by flares at football stadiums. Remember, earlier this season, a KSC fan was convicted for injuring a Kaiserslautern fan after the KSC fan threw a flare into the Kaiserslautern fan block.

Having been trained to use flares in the US Army, I can tell you that flares are indeed extremely dangerous if not used properly.

And they weren't made to be used to celebrate in crowds of people.

Then why did Klose ADMIT he dived on Premiere after the match?

He wasn't great, but I never expected this kind of whining from you EE.

You guys were horrible in Barcelona and that's what cost you this tie.

I don´t whine. I posted before, that Werder deserved to be out.
And the reason was not the referee,
but it must be said, that the refereee was horrible.

Inconsistent, yes. "Horrible"? I don't think so.

And as far as whining, I believe you did, because you still tried to claim Klose didn't dive!

How are you going to tell us that he didn't dive, when:

1) It was such a blatant dive that those of us rooting for Werder were DISGUSTED by his action.

2) Klose himself ADMITTED it was a dive after the match!

Where I'm from, that's straight up whining.

chill out man we are upset, we feel the ref was unjust in his first yellow card, and that if he wanted to book for diving he could book just about every foul in professional football, BUT HE DIDNT. He chose to book one of our best players in the 20th minute of a key game. We arent saying he was unjust. Klose did dive, but we feel that, because of the gravity of the situation, he was a bit harsh and inconsistent in his yellow cards.

Thats all, everyone chill, its over. Lets concentrate on our last few games.

I don´t whine, i just say he didn´t dive.
Under a dive i understand a different thing than what Klose did.
I judge the scene this scene and i won´t change if i watch it again.

That Klose said he dived after the match is beyond my understanding.
But he´s a bit deranged in the last time,
all the transfer talks were not good for him.

i don't even like our chances in berlin to be honest. Schalke and stuttgart both wins and we have lost 3 straight games we should win

Klose has announced he will fulfill his contract at Bremen, i think he is going to finish up his contract and then move to Bayern...there were rumors of a 15 mi euro deal struck between Klose and Bayern...Everyone knows Bremen will not allow him to move to Bayern until his contract expires...i really hope he doesnt, but sadly it looks like thats where Klose will be after next season..

i am also hoping that Bremen will not sell Diego to Real...that is the most important thing in my opinion. Klose is declining, but Diego is just beginning. i know there is know way we can keep him here very long, but if we wait it out another season, maybe we could fetch even more than 30 million euros

It is true, there were so many non Bremen fans out there rooting for Bremen that will tell you, without loyalties or heart getting in the way, Klose lost the game due to a very poor performance that even he knew was so bad, he got right up. Perhaps it was due to this that if I was a ref, I might have let it slide and just given the ball to Espanyol. At least he didn't do the "grap my shin and roll in pain" move. Back to the ref's desicion - Was it harsh...yeap. Was he inconsistent throughout the game, hell yeah!! But was he wrong? Absolutly not!

it's weird that klose would dive... last year against bielefeld he even told Markus Merk (i think it was him) that he was wrong to give werder a 11m and got a trophy for fair play... people don't expect him to dive.

That is easy to explain. He was trying to make something out of nothing. He was trying anything he could to get Bremen an advantage including cheating. Hell, that is the kind of desire I want from my players. Yeah, he did something very stupid with bad consequences, but he did it for the right reason in my opinion.

Still, doing it when you already have a yellow card is pretty stupid in my opinion. But I understand why he did it.

You guys had better kick some Hertha ass today!!!

From what I've read, Rosenberg has done pretty well when he's been given the chance to play. What are the odds on him earing a spot on the starting eleven for next season?

Any reports on what happened to Christian Schultz?

Simunic must have thought he was Chuck Norris. Hope Schultzie is okay.
