Bloody hell...now Ramon Calderon says Madrid will make "every effort" to keep David Beckham. Shame they didn't do that before. This will be interesting to see what deal they offer him...

Honestly, if I was Becks I wouldn't want to stay at Real for the fact that suddenly they're treating him like royalty. I'm sortof glad he's getting out like Ronaldo did, regardless of where he's going to play.

and I would have liked to see Valencia make a stronger push for the title. I like David Villa's play.

I dont think he can do anything about it. Becks as already signed a contract.

Wow I have spent the whole weekend doing end of the year projects. I am completing a Sociology project were I have written with a partner a 9 page report. My topic is trying to find a solution to the homeless problem in Orange County.
By next year I better win a Nobel Peace Prize

I also have to complete a group book project later today

i hate the end of the year projects. i had one last year that i had to write a 15 page single spaced report on the chemical and mechanical properties (on an atomic level) of a certain type of carbon fiber. i only got about 8 pages and prayed to god my powerpoint was good enough. i ended up with a b.

The thing is, Beckham hasn't signed a contract. He has signed a pre-contract agreement which states that when his Real contract expires he will give first option to a contract with Galaxy with the terms that were set out. It isn't a playing contract, as yet Galaxy do not own his registration, and really and truly a pre-contract agreement is nothing more than a Gentleman's agreement. If he wanted to stay he could get out of it. He'd look like an ass for reneging on his word, but it depends on how bad he wants to stay at Madrid (which I don't think he does).

Yo, Madrid looks like a sinking ship. It may not be, and jumping now may prove in the long run to be premature, but they need so many more players, and the success of any such signings will take a while to determine (not like "Oh we got Henry, we'll win the league"), as Real's shortcomings are so prevalent, that Becks would be a fool to stay. For footballing reasons alone, as the current state of play explained by bigg is, he should get out.

with microsoft word, go to edit> replace> and in find what, put in a period ( . ) in with what, put another period. click the more tab, and go to format>font and change the size from 12 to 14. it replaces all the periods, thus making your paper longer. depending on how much you have done, it can really do wonders. you can do the same thing for question marks, exclamation points, etc. but I wouldn't on quotations as those are quite obvious that you've messed with the size of your font. the rest though are virtually unnoticable.

and that's what I've learned in college.

My friend showed me this when I was writing my senior exit. It ended up being another page and a half longer, but I was way too scared I'd get caught. (they are really stingy on everything.. and I had reached 7.5 pages already, when the paper had to be 6-10, so I was fine).

It's a good little trick, though!

yea i know how to do that but most of our papers are emailed in as well. so they bring it up in word and fix all the spacing and such. it's better to do it right the first time then have a meeting in the prof. office the day after.

For the first time today, I've been fiddling with the Wii photo channel. It is quite entertaining. The slideshow thing it can do is pretty amazing as well. :)

It's been raining here for the past 4 days.. apparently it's supposed to rain until Sunday, then start again on Tuesday for the rest of the week. Joy...
