lets promote Lara because I want our Senior team to play like this.... not this crappy I want to be italy playing style of Pinto... who is just like el Bollio he scores then shits his pants and defends the rest of the game.... if Pinto had any balls we would have beaten Argentina in Copa America we went up after 7 mins then the douche bag goes to bunker and waste time after 7 FING MINS !!!
Let's not get ahead of ourselves, Lara is a good coach and all but this 5-0 was only one game against the worst team in the group, it's a good result but sometimes teams just have great games. Paraguay beat us 5-0 in the copa america, did they do anything after that?
Mind you, if this sub17 team gets to the semis at least, then I might agree with you on promoting Lara, but not yet.

I was just looking at the advance stages -- if Colombia doesnt win Sunday's match vs Ghana, we'll likely fall into 2nd place in group and play our friends Brazil! Not a good idea.
Winning the group puts us against 2nd place E bracket which is likely going to be Belgium.

I think beating Ghana isnt going to be that hard, like they couldnt beat the germans, and we just tied because of jitters.... our boys were nervous but Its best to stay away from brasil and argentina till we have to play them in the final :)
haha I am kinda liking that Tzellez kid now haha dont know what happened to him but he stepped it up.
#15 is promising and is the only colombia Ive seen that knows how to take a fing corner kick correctly
Nazarith :) please dont turn out like rodagella
Viafara glad u stepped up in the 2nd game
Trzellez after all the crap peps said about him, he has stepped it up real well
our goalie is a little suspect .... he did real bad the 1st game
but we really cant get cocky cause we just beat trinadad and they suck, Ghana is the real deal... if we own them then we can start gloating

If we can make it passed the Rnd of 16 then I think we can go to the finals (Although we'd likely face England in QF)

Prudencia!

true, but Nigeria also had a weak group : Japan, France + Haiti. France barely scraped thru... We were also missing Viafara who is obviously needed in our defense. The Nigerians will be tough to beat.

So, you say Trellez steped up because he did "ok" against "Trinidad"!!! hello!!! Trinidad!!!!! just like when he scored against ecuador in that 6-1 or 5-1 match. what does the score tell you about the opponent?

trellez saved colombia against Germany and helped greatly against Trinadad.... I hated the kid after the sudamericana but one thing is certain it was 3-1 when he got in and ended 3-3 ...... and the pk was on him !!!!
2nd game he scored and had an assist didnt he??? Think the kid is still young for everyone to be hating him already... but he is inconsistent ala g. herndez and tessor moreno.... but isnt Viafara also??
Our team is basically inconsistent our Defense sucks and the only reason we didnt get scored on against T&T was cause they sucked
we are going to have to step it up greatly on defense and the goalie has to come threw because 2 of the goals he let in by germany were crap ones

Viafara is a defender. He was out vs Ghana because of yellow cards. Great player.

this is why I dont want Lara as the NT coach for senior level we are just going to field a bunch of 6'4 black guys that have no skill just cause they are tall and fast and leave out great players cause they arent 6 feet tall... ala Freddy Montero, Carlos Hilgado, among others who are currently sub 20 and top players in our league
Viafara is a defender. He was out vs Ghana because of yellow cards. Great player.
Yea but what did Viafara do against germany he didnt have the greatest game either....
think the best player is Nazarith and he is the most consistent but this is sub 17 these kids are only 16-, no reason to get so excited yet half of these guys wont even make it.... maybe 4-5 of them will, they are young and inconsistent but promising and none have even made their 1st teams yet
look at our most promising 18 yaer old the one from Inter Milan he played on inters 1st team during preseaon 2 years ago as a sub for Andriano and Martins and now no one knows wtf he is
