Enough complaints to warrant this. If anyone brings up stock car, open wheels, drag, horse, mule or pig racing in the FCD forum the post will be moved here (whenever I get around to it).

I'll begin, I find it hilarious that Jimmy Johnson's name is composed of two euphamisms for the male sexual organ.

True....but only JJ actually decided to make his namesake the central concept of his life. He's turned being a prick into a lifestyle.

Great, now the OT thread has gone OT.

Back on topic: Hey, how about that one race where two drivers got too close and one hit the other, causing a spin out? Man, that was amazing.

Or how about that other one where there was a crash inside of the final 5 laps, and the race was won under the yellow flag? I can't believe that doesn't happen more often.

Ooh, and while I'm reminiscing about great NASCAR moments, how about after that one guy won and his crew sprayed him with champagne? Classic!

Our team hasn't won a trophy in a decade.......if they want to make fun of the NASCAR thread they are fully free to do so.

And I fully expect this to become our version of wheels off in no time.

there has to be a better solution than a sticky for Nascar here at BS FCD forum.

but since I'm here I'll congratulate the auto racing announcers for sounding sincere when they get all excited about concrete having finally hardened.

and also tickled pink to report that an automobile's suspension has been adjusted --- for the millionth time on the same obsolete automobile at the same god-forsaken track they've been racing at since there were American Motors Matadors out there.

Congratulations.

Here's a joke for you now to lighten things up a bit:

Nascar chaplain.

I love the pre-game invocations. I particularly like it when they ask G-d to protect people who willingly get into 2 ton machines going 200 mph in a pack of 43 surrounded by concrete walls and large tanks of flammable material.

This is great, the NASCAR thread is getting more posts than the soccer threads thanks mostly to the people who don't like it. :D

BTW, Tony is just messing around right now, he has this chamionship locked up.

The FC Dallas Board has a thread devoted to cars, which is a sticky, and another thread devoted to beer. Is there any other MLS forum that has this many completely irrelevant threads:confused:

Shameful:(

frankly I'm in favor of stickying the beer thread.
