according to

www.fifaworldcup.com

"Thank you for visiting FIFAworldcup.com. We are currently integrating the site into a new FIFA.com which will be launched in June 2007 and will contain new interactive features and a huge video offering. All previous
FIFA World Cup™ coverage will be incorporated onto the new site. Until then, why not see how preparations are developing for South Africa 2010, by visiting FIFA.com."

also saw in another thread that the exact date for the new fifa Wc page is the 29th of May, not sure if they meant the Fifa.com or the fifaworldcup.com page?

A few mistakes in the national teams section - where is "Cook Island"? - last time I checked there were more than one  Also, "Guam Island" anyone? or what about "Republic of Guinea" - don't see the need for the "Republic". They have also done this with "Yemen Republic", and "Republic of Ireland" - although everyone seems to do this - the name of the country is simply "Ireland". Also, Western Samoa is now called simply Samoa, and has been for quite a few years, but FIFA seems to be using the old name. FIFA also insists on not using São Tomé and Príncipe, but using the Portuguese "São Tomé e Príncipe" instead. Conversely, they use "Ivory Coast" even though the official name in every language is now the French "Côte d'Ivoire". There is also Brunei Darussalam rather than just Brunei, "Tadjikistan" instead of "Tajikistan" and "Kirghizistan" instead of "Kyrgyzstan". Apart from that though - it looks like it's shaping up to be a very nice site, and maybe the names will revert to normal once the site is more established and people start writing them e-mails complaining ;)

Very nice, I like the team pages. But pointing out more errors like mcruic showed us.

Few Guatemalan players have made it to foreign shores. Carlos Ruiz and Freddy Garcia (both playing in Mexico) and Guillermo Ramirez (in Spain) are two exceptions to the rule. Ruiz is the idol of young Guatemalan football fans. In his very first season playing for Major League Soccer in the USA, he was voted the Most Valuable Player.
Ruiz and la rata García both play in Mexico??
Pando Ramírez in Spain!!!!!

After Ruiz, they need to mention Dwight Pezzarossi who has played in 4 different countries.
