good one:D he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn
but i say Ruiz because , this is the 1st GC with no burden of wcq on his mind, so he can concentrate on winning it, not conserving energy, i also see Mario and Pezzarossi steping up to T&T and ES, and notching a few
USA always has mixed bunch of scoring but i can see Landon , up there and Bofo and Bravo leading Mexico.
Suazo definitely in the mix too

If there is a concacaf team he hasn't yet scored against, that's because he hasn't played against that team yet :D

Landon Donovan - he can only play against CONCACAF teams.

About Ruiz, I have not kept up with how Guatemala has been playing as of late, but if this team does not drastically improve from what they showed last qualifying cycle, they have little chance of making it out of the group. I was so disapointed by Guatemala during hex qualifying, it seemed that at times, some of their players (especially defenders) lacked the basic skills to play in an adult sunday league.

Ouch.. that's a bit harsh.
They did beat us quite badly at home which they never get bored bringing up. I dunno if I would say they performed that badly hell they almost made it to the world cup.

I rest my case

Everyone in the Concacaf Hex almost made the World Cup
And to be fair, its not entirely Guatemala's fault, the Hex was incredibly weak last time around. The difference in level between Mexico and the US (which even for them, was not that high) and the rest of the Concacaf (starting with Costa Rica) was huge.

Previous winners
1991-Benjamin Galindo (MEX)
1993-Zaguinho (MEX)
1996-Eric Wynalda (USA)
1998-Luis Hernandez (MEX) & Paulo Wanchope (CR)
2000-Carlo Corazzin (CAN)
2002-Brian McBride (USA)
2003-Walter Centeno (CR) & Landon Donovan (USA)
2005-DaMarcus Beasley (USA)
For 2005, I believe for the first time they used assists as the tiebreaker (which FIFA started doing a few years ago). So that's why Beasley won it.
I would say that this time an American should win it again, due to the weakness of their group compared to Mexico.
