TOO CRAZY!

7-2? San Jose blows the big one.

I wonder how an A league team would do in MLS, if they were allowed to be promoted and all. Every once in a while, you hear of teams like "Charleston Battery" beating MLS teams like DC United. But that is only one game that the A league team is all hype about and ready to give it all they got. I doubt they could maintain that enthusiasm through out an entire season.

I dont know. I'll bet anyone here San Jose wont even make the play offs this year.

Thanks Chaski for the post!

i saw wilstermann-blooming this afternoon 8/11..and wilster gave a 7-1 thumping.

i was really impressed with the kid, javier guzman, who is 18 years old and finished his goal with precision, it was pretty sweet.

limberg gutierrez who will probably be our #10 in the qualifyers is FAT. but he can play, so hopefully he will get in shape.

wilster´s goalie, hugo suarez is a kid as well and played solid, throwing his body around when he needed.

luis reyes, wilsters captain is a solid defenseman..

so some players for the future..

Bolivian champions on strike

A strike by players from Bolivian champions Oriente Petrolero has led to the postponement of their match against Real Potosi...

Presidents of Oriente Petrolero and Blooming say Torneo Clausura should be suspended or cancelled because of economic problems and conflicts with players.

I saw him play against Mexico and the dude sucked the big one. If there was anyone on the field that didnt belong there, it was him (vs Mexico). He is young and was perhapes nervous, but I wouldnt trust him with any big games yet.

Limberg is awsome. He is fat, but the dude can run, pass, dribble, and shoot very well. I dont care about his weight as long as he continues to play the way he has.

I only wished all these talented players Bolivia is producing could be a bit taller.

Limberg is taller than the US midifield. However Vaca is pretty short.

i will continue my raving of javier guzman. he struck another sweet goal yesterday against san jose. i, too, remember the game against mexico and thought the kid was not ready for the big time...in fact i thought it was just a novelty for him being out there..

..but the two times i have seen him play in person, he was outstanding..he can pass, dribble and create his own shot (something that jose alfredo has trouble doing)

yes, gutierrez is skilled having won the best foreigner award in the uruguayan league, but he lacks the creativity that guzman has..and he is only 18.

i told my cousin that i would like to see guzman, vaca and castillo on the pitch at the same time, and in two years i would like to see where guzman´s progress has been made..perhaps in the MLS??

speaking of tall players...agustin andaveris, the afro-boliviano is such a well-built player and can run, but he just lacks some of the skills that a striker needs..

let´s look forward to 2004..and hope that this venezuela game marks the end of the oscar sanchez, marco sandy run..yes, they have given their service to their country, but we need to give the kids a shot..
