will there be some sort of royal box presentation for the F.A. cup final??? i know that the box is now about 100 steps from ground level, but will they do something makeshift for it or what?

Well they used the royal box for the Vase on Sunday, they'll do the same for the Cup final. Couldn't see it from where I was though. Every seat has a view of the pitch, but not of the presentations.

126 steps to the Box and the Queen will be at Wembley for the Final for the first time since 1966.

There's always a royal presence or representative, but I don't think the Queen has been there since 1966 you know? Certainly I can't remember anyone taking the trophy off her in my life time.

Still it matters not. As long as it's Man Utd collecting the cup, I don't care if it's Clint Eastwood handing it over..... :D

It will be very similar to the old wembley stadium. The players will walk up the steps, shake a few hands, collect their medals, and the captain will hold up the trophy to the roar of the crowd just like it used to be.

The only difference is that they have to walk further. Since the Royal Box is actually higher.

Infact take a look at this link
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2CtY9Wc8Zso

It shows you them lifting the trophy at 1:42.

Kidderminster Harrier v Stevenage, first FA Trophy Final to be played at the stadium.

ok, good to know. i thought they would do something makeshift since the tought of having to climb the 126 steps after a 90 minute match would tire the players out.

now it makes the sight of ryan giggs lifting the cup on saturday even sweeter:D
