Okay, I know it's a little early to be talking about our next home game, 6/2 against NY, but I have a couple of things to pass along:
1. El Gato Buys the Beer. That's right, Hartman is supplying the Cauldron tailgate with a keg at the 6/2 game.
2. Special Cauldron ticket pricing for this game. $10 tickets, minimum order of 2 tickets. Lets get as many new people out as we can....let them experience for themselves the "New and Improved" Cauldron. To receive the special pricing, you need to call Sam at 913-387-3400 ext 313. And remember, you can buy your extra, discounted $25 tickets for the LA game when you call to order tickets for this game.

Sounds great. I'm going to try to get at least 5 non-regulars to join me. If everyone could get 5 friends or co-workers to come try it out, the Cauldron will be packed to the top.

I tend to agree, but don't see it happening given our current location in the stadium.

Do you think it might be possible to ask if we can get permission for one person to stand on a seat in the front row? Or even a small step ladder?

You don't need permission for that. Trust me. ;)

I suppose not, but I can't throw out the "I've got carte blanche from Curt Johnson" line to security anymore. (That worked WAAAAY too well last year. :))

I love that idea about leading the cheers! :)
I don't recommend standing on a seat, though. One wrong move and it folds on your foot. ouch
And major kudos to Robert and Hartman! Wish I could be there!

Hmmm I recall the security getting all uppity when the Argies mounted the seats during the Crew game.

I suppose you weren't jumping up and down and chanting in Spanish then.

I stood on my chair for a good portion of the second half last week and no one messed with me.

My understanding is that we will no be selling any more tickets at the tailgate. For this promotion you have to call Sam and for our regular "ticket and tailgate" package, you can order online - http://www.kccauldron.com/store.

3 people spread through out the section that will be visible to each other at all times (if standing on the chairs for a couple minutes is necessary then so be it) to get the chants started on time. Chant coordinators I guess you could call them. Like Stu said this is a great problem to have. The sooner we all get on the same page the better.
