Less than 48 hours from now, we will know which Black Country side will be walking out of the tunnel at Wembley in two weeks' time. Will Albion be able to retain and hopefully build upon our slender lead? Could we be on the wrong end of a Dingles fightback? Or will the road to Premiership run through the dreaded gauntlet known as the penalty shoot-out?

At the moment, things are looking good for the first option, but we will need to improve how we defend. We were clearly the inferior team in the first half Sunday afternoon, and we allowed Wolves many chances. We will need to establish that precarious balance between attack and defence. Albion must find ways to punish the Dingles on the break whilst limiting their opportunities.

COME ON YOU BAGGIES!!!

Damn. I don't have the luxury of taking the afternoon off from work, so I'll be watching a late replay of the match. I'll try to visualise lots of goals for the men in stripes in my cubicle. :(

HERE WE COME! :D

We always looked the better side tonight from start to finish. Kiely was rarely troubled while we kept W***es' young keeper busy all night. Kevin Phillips with a spectacular header sealing the deal... "and we're going to Wem-ber-lee!"

Yeah, Dingles, you had an okay season. Did better than you expected. McCarthy's a decent manager who might get you up eventually. The sad truth is, we always had the better class of players this season having just been relegated. We did you four out of five times, including the FA Cup and when it mattered the most.

Albion's mission is far from over. Now comes a date with Derby County on a Bank Holiday Monday afternoon in London. We know there will be another Midlands side in the Premiership, but will it be from the West or East?

BOING BOING!
