Yeah theres the PFA team of the year. This is a team voted by all premiership players to select the best player from the past year in each position. This year it was:
Van der Sar (Man Utd)
G. Neville (Man U) R. Ferdinand (Man U) Vidic (Man U) Evra (Man U)
Ronaldo (Man U) Gerrard (Liverpool) Scholes (Man u) Giggs (Man U)
Drogba (Chelsea) Berbatov (Spurs)

No Essien also equals a joke team. While Scholes and Gerrard would be very similar, Essien is completely different. So basically Scholes should have to make way for Gerrard, or vice versa.

Gerrard played like shit this season, so he obviously drops out.
