Me and a few friends booked a week long trip there from Sunday to Sunday.
We were also able to get tix for the final through a ticket broker here in the States.
We're completely psyched about the final and really looking forward to the amazing atmosphere in Athens with all the scousers that will descending on the city and partying throughout the week!
Anyone else out there going?
Tuesday and Wednesday it seems like most every hotel in the city is booked (we've got our sleeping bags packed and ready for the worst case scenario just in case) though the rest of the week seems manageable as far as finding rooms.
Anyone out there who is going or might be familiar with Athens have any suggestions on accommodation, what to do during the week (other than party with all the scousers and watch the reds win #6!), and any ideas on near by Greek islands that we could legitimately squeeze into our itinerary during the week long trip?
