Lots of threads in this group that have nothing to do with English cups, about who will win the prem + Damarcus Beasley, etc.... Anyhoo... so I thought I'd start a poll in here about an English cup... the FA cup final. The Man U - Chelsea run in has been a bit of an anti-climax. The champions league matchup would have been a third place consolation if it were to be played, the big premiership clash turned out to be a dour meaningless blank ... however, the FA cup final is on Saturday, May 19 and there is all to play for. The tournament may not be what it used to be (overshadowed by the champions league and premiership but this is possibly the most high profile FA cup final I can remember.... and at the new Wembley Stadium too.

So anyway: Chelsea vs. Manchester United .... who will win it?

Hard to call but since Man Utd lost today i'll go for them to bounce back and win the FA cup at the new wembley.

This match will come down to who wants it more. They drew in both league matches and it is obvious that these teams are evenly matched. As a United supporter I am worried that the team might not be as hungry as Chelsea as they have achieved more this year.

Chelsea missing Carvalho (hence Essien is sacrificed), Mikel, Sheva, Ballack, and Robben is nowhere near fit. It'll be tight, but United'd attacking quality against a backline of Ferreira, Essien, and Ashley Cole doesn't exactly instill confidence. Oh, well.

COME ON CHELSEA!

on paper, it's MANU. But if Chelsea can show the same heart as they did against Arsenal at Emirates, it's Chelsea.

Mourinho is irritating me in the run up to this final. The starting XI he can put out should be able to hold it's own against any team. Man Utd have injuries with Neville, Saha and Park all ruled out and Vidic and Rio having not played together for a while.

Seems he is simply fishing for excuses before a ball has been kicked.

Personally I want Man Utd to win but the game is too close to call......
