Do you reckon its ok to play with a broken arm(in a cast)?

I've played against some people with broken arms who wrapped their cast in bubble wrap.
I guess it is allowed but it is kind of annoying when they slam the thing into you and get away with handballs.

That is a question for your doctor. I had an extremely bad break at the wrist. My doctor wouldn't let me even jog for 4 months. I still play with a brace to protect it.

It is also a question for the league your playing in. Some will let you play with some kind of protective covering over the cast and some wont. You and the people your playing against must be considered safe.

It depends on the refree at times, as well. There's a kid on my team who broke his arm a few weeks ago. Ever since, he has to wrap his cast in different ways. One ref was okay with a layer of bubble wrap, while another demanded two shirts, 2 layers of bubble wrap, and athletic tape all around the outside. The thing weighed about 15 lbs by the time we finished wrapping it.
So just bring plenty of supplies if you are feeling like you want to play.:)
