He last played for Va. Beach after a short stint with Charleston and a few years with Atlanta. I assume no one wanted a player with a bad attitude.
Career over?

He made his debut for Charlotte Eagles in USL-2 last week.

Charlotte has a Alex Woods. Unless, Charlotte hasn't updated their website I would say that is a different Woods.
Thanks though.
He'll probably show up on one of the many super amateur teams that compete in money leagues in Atlanta. A couple of those teams are better than the pro Silverback USL D1 team. Odd.

The USL website definitely shows an Alan Woods. Roster #6, came off the bench and played the last 8 mins of the game.

Either USL are wrong, or Charlotte's home page is wrong!

I'm not gonna get into an argument about the subjective term "better," but I'd be sorely pressed to find any amateur team (Latino or not, in Atlanta or elsewhere in the US) that is better than the Atlanta Silverbacks.

Sometimes the game report has typos.
Lets check the roster team's website for #6.

What is Odd here is your evaluation of soccer. While the beauty of an FA Cup or a US Open Cup is some of these part timers get to play against full time pros and even on occasion beat them there are not couple of amateur teams that are better than the Silverbacks.

The Silverbacks from the last few years have been very poor, but I will admit this years team is much much better.
However, there is one team in the Atlanta area that is carrying some very talented players. Almost the entire team are former professionals that are still in their late 20's or early 30's, so they can play some very good soccer.
Some roster names:
Jon Aiken - Former Atlanta S'Back, Charleston Battery
Gilbert Jean Baptiste - Former Captain of Haitian National Team, Charleston Battery and S'Back
Braeden Cloutier - former NY Metrostars, Revolution, Hamburg SV and Wichita Wings
Velko Iotov - former Bulgarian '94 World Cup member, Espanyol (La Liga), Newell Ole Boys (Arg), Charleston Battery and Atl. S'Back
Michael Mecerod - Czech Republic league
Jordy Broder - Atlanta Silverback
Their keeper is a former MLS'er.
This is just who I can name. I just think they could give a really good game to Atl. Silverbacks.

I know who those guys are. The team is called the Future Stars. I am sure they could give them a good game, but they are not better. I think even they would tell you that. Talented players that is for sure. They won the last Champions League at the Silverbacks Park.
