Congratulations must be given to the LFC Ladies, who have won this years Northern Division League title with two games to go, and are back in the 'big show' next year, after beating Wolverhampton 5-0 (http://www.lfcladies.net/Home%20Page.htm).

They got relegated two years ago, and after coming second last year, they have managed to put together a great year, and are back where they belong.

Good luck to them next year! :)

Oh yeah- it was a good year in total.

"It's probably the best season Liverpool Ladies have ever had. We've won the league, the reserves have won the league and the under-16s have won the league and County Cup. The future's looking good."

Ok guys- I'm trying here- here's an update on the LFC Ladies.

You know the girls who actually play football, not just try and look sexy in footy jerseys :D

Liverpool Ladies manager David Bradley believes his side are all but safe from relegation following a 4-0 victory over rivals Cardiff on Sunday.
The girls are now 12 points clear of the drop zone after goals from Kelly Jones, Jo Traynor, Cheryl Foster and Gill Hart.

They result leaves them in joint eighth in the FA Women's Premier League with seven games remaining.

"We've already tripled the amount of points we had last time we came up. That shows the great talent we have and it's just about applying ourselves now.

"Hopefully we can add some more quality players over the summer and next year it won't be about consolidating, it will be about challenging."

Next up for the LFC Ladies is a trip to champions Arsenal next Sunday.

Liverpool Ladies finished the league season on a low with a 4-1 defeat at Watford.

Chantelle Parry bagged a late consolation from a free-kick, though with another season in the FA Tesco Women's Premier League already secure the result was academic.

Gaffer David Bradley said: "It was a disappointing end to the season but we've achieved our goal of getting away from being a yo-yo club.

"It's now going to be a case of out with the old and in with the new. We're hoping to get 15 new players, including five big hitters. That's the plan.

"We'll look to build on this year next season and then, if things work out, we'll be challenging the following year."

There's still a chance of silverware this term, however, with the County Cup final against Everton at Goodison on May 18.

The girls finished 9th out of 12 teams. Apparently the Arse ladies have won five in a row.

Drama!!!

Liverpool Ladies were on the end of a 5-0 thumping in the final of the County Cup on Sunday.
The girls travelled to Goodison on the back of a fine season which saw them consolidate their place in the FA Women's Premier League, but victory over League Cup winners Everton proved a bridge too far.

Liverpool Ladies have sacked manager David Bradley after less than 12 months in the job.
Bradley led the girls to safety in their first season back in the FA Women's Premier League National Division, with the Reds finishing third bottom.

Several members of the coaching staff and leading players such as Chantelle Parry have also left the club.
