At least this was only one game. Every Astros game is about as fun as a rectal exam.

There are three things we Milwaukeeans hold up as what's great about Milwaukee
1) Beer
2) Friendly people
3) Rectal exams
Is there any doubt as to why I'm proud of my hometown?
:D

Supporting them is like getting a jig saw in the pee hole, it's probably the most unpleasant thing imaginable

What do you think it's been like supporting the Brewers for the last 15 years when we haven't even had a winning record?

This is true, I change my post to the 2nd worst....no make that third worst thing imaginable. That's behind the Devil Rays and the Brewers of course:p

And I'd like to add, if my pro-Brewer excitement has become annoying, please remember that for the first time since I was young when I turn on a Brewer game I actually expect them to win, which still feels strange. And unlike other times when we started out ok, but just ended up being crap like usual in the end, this year it feels legitimate. I honestly feel we'll make the playoffs for the first time since '82. And so after 15 years without a winning record, 25 years without a post season appearance, those of us who have been loyal to our team through losing season after losing season, don't we deserve a bit of slack?
And I actually like the Astros, I have a 32 oz cup from when I saw them in spring training to prove it

I wasn't expressing an annoyance or anything with your Brewers "in-yo-faceness", just saw that article and thought of you (only Brewers fan I've ever met....) so...ya...

Normally I only root for the Sox and whoever is playing against the Yankees, but this year I'm pulling for the Brewers too... until they meet the sox in the series.

I know, I've just been a bit, shall we say, exuberant about the Brewers lately.
Haha, yeah, not many people know many Brewers fans, most people are surprised when they meet me to find out that there's such a thing as a Brewers fan :D

The Red Sox are my AL team, and I'll cheer for them until they meet the Brewers in the World Series, and when they won the WS it was a bit carthartic for me beacue the Cardinals were the team that beat us in our one and only World Series apperance.
I like to say it was easy for me to start pulling for the Red Sox when I moved here, because I already hated the Yankees.

When they were in the AL East, I used to hope their players and fans got butt cancer and died.
How ironic.

I just realized with Saturday's game, I will have been to more Brewer games in the past year then Red Sox games.

You know, I'm starting to wonder if this whole "Brewers being good" thing is good for the mental health of Wisconsin residents.
I mean, how else can you explain this?
PeeYourPantsForTheBrewers.com (http://www.peeyourpantsforthebrewers.com/)
And yes, that site is exactly what you think it is. This is my favorite excerpt:
Unacceptable Method: Wearing a swimsuit and peeing in that and then jumping in a pool or lake right away. That does not count.

I'm willing to take bets on how long it takes before Brad's name is on that list.
And I swear Brad if you friggin' go in the Fort...

Don't worry, there's enough urine in the Fort with the beer Gillette serves. OH!

They aren't taking pledges at the moment due to some technical difficulties. Unfortunately.

Yeah, I was surprised his name wasn't on the list...
If my name makes it to the list, Brad put it there, because he thought I would be a good friend and pee my pants too because I am Brewers fan, not because I signed up myself.
