Just spoke with director of operations for the kickers.
Lots will not open until 11am (he was not pleased but said he negotiated as best he could with U Richmond police).
Grills are fine, alcohol is not fine.
My suggestion: use discretion and don't be an idiot.

Is it true they're not serving booze in the stadium either?

correct. It's a college stadium and they don't serve any alcohol.

Well, that sucks. Especially for me. I'm like a chocoholic, but for booze.

there's a rumor that beer will be sold during the US match but not during the Richmond match after. I forgot to ask about that. perhaps someone else can call down to Richmond Kickers, select Paul - director of operations after the lengthy message and see if you can catch him....thx

the kickers people said that Alcohol will be served inside for the USA match only.

This place opens at 10am for brunch...there will be a group of USA Supporters there for waffles and beer :)
