There is actually a match tomorrow:
http://soccernet-akamai.espn.go.com/design05/i/clubhouse/badges/363.gif Chelsea
VS.
http://soccernet-akamai.espn.go.com/design05/i/clubhouse/badges/360.gifMancheseter United
Date: May 9th 2007
Time: 20:00 UK, 15:00 US EST
Venue: Stamford Bridge
Title decider!! (oh wait...).
Interesting Match facts:
Chelsea:
-Not lost a home Premiership game under Mourinho (won 44, drawn 11), nor been defeated in the top division at the Bridge since a 1-2 reverse to Arsenal on 21 February 2004 (won 48, drawn 13). If they can maintain that run until the end of this season they will equal Liverpool's top flight record of 63 home League matches without defeat. Combining Mourinho's record with FC Porto, he is unbeaten in 93 home games in the English and Portuguese leagues (won 80, drawn 13).
Manchester United:
-Premier League Champions

The game will be nothing for the league titles so I think that the big names should be rested for the THE FA CUP final...

----Koozy-----
O'Shea-Rio-Vidic--Evra
Eagles-Fletcher-Carrick-Rich.
---Smith---Saha
I'd like to see Dong & Lee

My guess of line-up vs. Chelsea

It'd still be nice to nick a point off of Chelsea... although I don't think either team will be that motivated. If anything, Chelsea have to feel a bit deflated, while we might have that "Champions high" or whatever, even from the kids.
Obviously it'd be sweeter to give Mourinho his first home Premiership loss. But that might be stretching it.
From the BBC:
Chelsea will again be without Didier Drogba and Arjen Robben, both having missed Sunday's draw at Arsenal.
Boss Jose Mourinho has added young strikers Scott Sinclair and Ben Sahar to the squad to face the champions.
Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs are among several players who will be rested as Manchester United keep one eye on the FA Cup final.
I'd be interested in seeing Ben Sahar out there... heard that he's quite talented actually.

I think certain players are going to need to play this game, namely those who have been injured recently and are in need of fitness and form before the final. All of our attackers should be rested. They need rest and also I wouldn't trust Mourinho to not try and do one in before the cup. There's absolutely no need to even take that risk now.
I actually think this will be a very good game of football. Mourinho has no excuse to not play open, attacking football against us. Nothing is on the line, pride is irrelevant with a cup final just down the road.
If Drogba is not playing they will not be hoofing the ball up to him and are going to play along the ground. Both Sahar and Sinclair are short and mobile so they'll want threaded balls ...or balls over the top..
Chelsea's B team is incredibly strong and certainly good enough to take 3pts whilst playing good football.
I think we'll see:
------------Polish
--------Rio--------Vidic
Brown--------------------Evra
--------Fletcher--Carrick
K.Lee---------------------Richardson
---------Dong----Ole
Ole won't start the final and either this game or the West Ham one will see him get a start in probably his last season as a full time 16 member.
I think we'll lose this.

Me too, can't wait for the headlines about a defiant Chelsea putting down a marker for next season. :(
Hope I'm wrong.

Ah, I meant relative to our CB's and Drogba. Sorry if that was misconstrued.

yes yes Ben Sahar...
Ben Sahar=God in training:D aka savior of israeli football:cool:
I hope he plays and scores. He is really good, tall, fast, excellent skill, and a cracking shot. also only 17 years old!
Rooney has 0 goals in Euro 08 Qualifiers when he has played i think every game and Ben has played 8 minutes vs. England and another 15 vs. Estonia (He scored 2 goals) the 2nd one was pure class if anyone saw it.
If he plays and scores and we lose I would be happy.
BTW I forgot to include Dong in my line-up earlier. I want Dong to start this game to see what hes got.
My dream scenario: (Goal in the game)
Dong
Smith

Sahar

How tall is Sahar? From what I've seen he looks wirey rather than tall as in 6ft 2+?
