For the first time in 27 years the Clasico San Pedrano will determine who is going to be the champion of La Liga Nacional. Marathon and Real Espana eliminated capitalino teams Olimpia and Motagua, respectively,to advance to the final. Who do you think will win the final and why?

quien ganara? LA MAQUINA!!!

don't be surprised olimpia is the most supported club in the country, they're the most successful club. most people rather support the "best" team than their local team.

I think Olimpia might have more fans in SPS than in Tegus. Whenever Olimipa plays a Concacaf game in SPS or some exhibition there they tend to get a bigger crowd than what they would get at home.

I'm cheering for Real España here. They due for a championship already. Also, I can't stand Marathon's fans.

In other news, we could see David Suazo's brother in Liga Nacional soon if his team manage to win the second leg in Roatan.

P.S: The SPS final will be shown in GolTV for anyone who doesn't know.

Yesterday's game between Real Espana and Marathon was the best game I have seen in a final since the "Clavisquinazo" in 1998. The game was played from one end of the field to the other. It also had three great goals, and all the drama that a final should have. Though Real Espana was mostly counting on counter attacks for their goal scoring opportunites it didn't effect the flow of the game.

Both Steven Bryce and Carlos Pavon had good games yesterday, and will probably take to an even higher level next Saturday. The game is going to be a knock down drag out fight to the finish. In the end I think Real Espana will choke out a 1-0 win in regulation and the final will be settled on PKs with Real Espana pulling it out.

No matter how it ends there's going to be a party in SPS next Saturday night.

As a neutral fan, that was a good game. I'm still a bit dissapointed though that Emil Martinez didn't appear until the second half.

Unfortunately Deportes Savio won. That means that their will be no free trips to Roatan for la Liga Nacional next year.
