After John O'Shea scored that last second goal against Liverpool earlier in the season the Man Utd. supporters broke out into the "Gary Neville is a Red" song. He was walking into the tunnel holding a shirt that had that on the front and the back said "we 8 scousers". I'm just curious about the significance of the 8. I've heard the song a million times but I really want to know the significance. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
