Perhaps somebody knows this ...

We got a PK against the Revs mid-week and then today we got a PK against Chivas.

My question: When is the last time we got PKs in consecutive games?

Pure speculation on my part, but I would bet we had conscutive PK games during the Stoichov years. I seem to recall us getting several one of those seasons

I recall Moreno missing his in the 04 eastern confrence finals against the revs. He was completely drained after running for 120 minutes.

We really haven't had that many pks over the last few years...

Last time I remember was in Chile during the Sudamericana in 05.

It's a historical question.

"An" is the correct article to use before "historical."

"An" is, technically, acceptable, however mark me in the camp of those who prefer "A".

As to the actual question asked, I feel it pales in comparison to this compelling question of grammar.

That's how I was taught. "An" historical book but "a" history book.

The English language sure is weird.

I use articles in about 1% of my sentences.

I give Jaime a lot of crap but I will have to say that today's PK was sweet. Lots of guts on that one.

Sweet, maybe, but I'd rather see less cheek and more certainty. It almost looked like a mis-hit on TV

Nope. He read the keeper. Guzan dove, he chipped up the middle.
