Yeah if only we'd been a nearly bankrupt team that hadn't won a title for 50 years before the Gl*zers arrived, there might be some value in this comparison.
I'm sure that becoming a "sell in order to buy" team is what won us the league. Undoubtedly.

Absolutely correct. The title was won in spite of them not because of them. Maybe if all of the club's cash flow wasn't being sucked up to service debt, we could have added more depth to the squad, which would have helped with the fixture congestion caused by the CL.

For the record, a lot of us are still very much against the Glazers and I personally don't think they had anything to do with this trophy nor do they deserve any credit for it. Other than that I'm a formal backer of Communist theory.
