I'd like to know what Bruce Arena did to Clint Mathis. Two goals and an assist? When he's on, he's the best player on that team, and he makes them scary good. At least when their defense doesn't (gleefully) fold like tonight.

Getting 3 points from the Chivas USA game this afternoon just became even more vital.

I was watching this game, and boy did I shout with glee when that final goal was scored...

It seems the soccer gods always like to even things up though, as last night, my own team had a goal scored on us in the last 15 seconds of play... which gave us a loss instead of the hard fought come from behind tie we had earned.
