Why?
Kleberson was never considered to be a great player and had his chances to impress but injury and his attitude let him down. Forlan was never considered great either and struggled with the tempo of the English game. Veron did well but was never allowed to take over the reigns in midfield and therefore he was unable to play his natural game.

He did not bad and that was despite never being allowed to play his natural game, as Keane always had the reigns in midfield. It meant Veron had less time on the ball and struggled as a result.

They're not great players. If they were they wouldn't have joined Bolton would they? We will never see an Henry, a Ronaldo, a Ronaldinho or a Zidane, we just have to get by watching shit every week.

They're not great players...
hierro, maybe? he was getting up there, but he didn't leave madrid because he was too old.
i know a few madridistas who would qualify him as 'great' in an instant.
but, yeah, they're hardly 'galacticos'.

Maybe at Man Utd. What about when he was at Chelsea??? He never really showed his quality there either...

Laurent Robert. The rest of our big players (Berger, Merson, Prosinecki, Campbell, James, Kanu, Lauren, D'Alessandro and, to an extent, Sheringham) have performed.
