Hmmm. A USASA team makes it to the second round. Cool. Last one I remember doing that was Florida's Uruguay FC. I remember that they played an MLS team, Tampa Bay, I believe. Don't remember the round, or the year.

Uruguay made it out of this stage in 2001 and lost to the Fusion 4-0.

They made it out in 2000 and lost to the Mutes in OT. Mexico SC also made it out that year, but the Thunder waxed them 7-0.

Mexico SC won last year against the SD Gauchos, but were DQd for using an ineligible player.
