Seems as though the club is still treating the Rapids rather well considering what's going on with Kroenke. I'm not saying I expect them to end the relationship, but I thought this showed class by Arsenal.

They've got a tough game against Port Authority coming up. I hope they're not playing at the Bus Terminal, i hate the diesel fumes in that place.

Well, I'm disappointed Hoang Anh Gia Lai are doing so poorly, and I'm worried about the visit from Da Nang this Sunday!

I need to stop coming back into this thread. My co-workers probably think I'm nuts from all the laughing I'm doing.
"Next up is a home fixture against Port Authority FC on Saturday.".........
......followed by a trip to Provincial Electricity FC, home to Bangkok University FC and finish the month visiting Royal Thai Police FC.

I guess that raises the question – are jerseys for Thai teams made in Thailand? Or do they find some other country with cheaper labor to make them?

Thai players will be a force to be reckoned with in the future I think, though not for about 20 years. I worked there when I was 18 through till 19 and the passion for football there is ridiculous. In the rural areas especially too it thrives. They get more premiership games on tv that we do here and many people are awake at the unsociable hours to see them. Problem is they dont have a proper team structure. Players have to play for teams in bangkok and its not exactly a professional setup. Its the companies (most of them tobacco companies!!) who set up teams and have players play for them in the only league. Though playing for these teams, and then the national team, is the highest these players end up. Many then dont take it too seriously and i heard some smoke and go out a lot etc not exactly living the professional lifestyle.
I dont know if this is mirrored in other south east asian countries but if clubs like Arsenal can set up academies there and harvest this enthusiasm for the sport, combine it with decent coaching and eventually culminate it into some decent leagues we may see a few big stars coming from there in the future. It's something I'd love to happen having seen the passion for it there.
