3-0 to Milan, they go through 5-3 on aggregate.

Tough loss, but in the long run it will be good for our younger players. Shows them how hard they have to work to succeed in Europe.

Also, I think it's no coincidence that both teams still fighting for first place in the EPL went out of the CL this week.

Yeah...it kinda sucks.

Hopefully Liverpool beat the crap out of them in final.

Our worst performance of the season by far. Gutted. But we'll be bettre for the experience and we'll be back next year.

For those saying that Rio could be sold and Evans could come in and take his place, I seriously hope you reconsider your position after watching our defense against a top opponent without Rio.

I may be disappointed with the teams performance, but overall I applaude them. You have to. Who would have thought we'd even make it this far? IMO, we overcame the odds. As someone else said earlier, we dont have the squad for Europe. We did well for what we have overall.

However this game we didnt leave a good account of our selves.

Congrats to Milan for outplaying us, and lets focus on the league now. It was a fun journey, consider the experienced For Ronaldo, Rooney, Carrick and co.

Next up Man City.

If I was bitter about today's defeat, I'd just bring up the fact that you werent even supposed to be in the cup to begin with. But no, I'll just give my congrats. Kaka has probably sealed the WPOTY award. Seedorf played well. Nesta and Gattuso were joint man of the match for them.

Hopefully this performance doesnt deflate some of our confidence. Good news is, we have Vidic back, Rio on the bench, and Saha back. Hopefully that will be enough to close out the season.

Keep your head up boys. We still have a lot to play for.

I'm still proud of our guys. While some of our play was "shambolic" (my new favorite word), we tried to give a good account of ourselves in the second half. However, the experience and play of Milan, especially in Europe, is very very good. Players like Kaka and Seedorf, who is in the middle of his best season at Milan, know what to do in times like these. They simply showed that edge we lacked.

I hate to sound like Arsenal, but this will be a good experience for the young guys. Add in a couple solid players this summer, and we'll be back here next year.

We still have THE DOUBLE to play for, so lets do it.

edit: and FORZA MILAN

Well no need to worry kids. Everyone keep a level head and don't yell at those classy Milan posters. No need to fight with them, or ignore them, or get pissed at them.

All we have to do is collectively get on our knees and start sucking ****. As soon as we bend down for that bar of soap they'll be gone in a minute and I'm sure they'll be satisfied. They aren't looking for trouble or anything ya know.

I'm so hurt right now. Later, I can start thinking about the Prem and the FA Cup but I'll have to mourn this for a couple of days.

Why did SAF play Vidic? Was he 100% fit? Where was Fletcher and Carrick?

Unlucky tonight lads, better luck next season, you can’t win them all and you have two more trophies you can walk away with so it’s not the end of the world.

Yep, the semis of the CL is a big accomplishment for our club, especially considering that we still fighting off Chelsea for the league and made it to the final of the FA Cup.

We were beaten by a team that has unrivalled experience at that level. I could have a go at the defending and all, but I'm proud of the team. It's been a great run, and other than Van der Sar, Giggs and Scholes, it was a new learning experience for all.

Disappoining, but I'm not disappointed in the lads. On to the next game. So much to play for.
