There are more but so many ppl are good that I tried to condense it to 5.

It's a hard question this. There are too many players that are so good. Chelsea have Lampard, Terry, Drogba and Essien. Man Utd have Scholes, Ronaldo and Rooney, Arsenal have Henry and Fabregas and Liverpool have Gerrard.

I think in terms of footballing ability and technical excellence I'd have:

Scholes
Ronaldo
Gerrard


I think Lampard, Drogba and Essien are fine players but the above players are better technically, especially the top 3, in my opinion.

Yes hes a great talent but i hate for someone to be that talented, And just act dumb...He gets tapped hits the ground..Everytime he gets touched just alittle He hits the Ground...Sometimes the wind blows too hard, Know what? He hits the Ground....He would be so much better if he stayed on his feet just alittle more than the Ground ya know...Dont have time for whiners Ruins the game...Same for Drogba, Both of these guys have 1good year and everyone jumps on there bandwagon...Next year they might just be Average again. Only time wll tell

exactly, so I think the thread should resemble a question of a hypothetical 5 on 5 tournament and you get to choose your 5 players. Formation should be 2-1-1.
