Just because Masch isnt an attacking midfielder and therefore doesnt get the goals/assists, doesnt mean he is worse than Cesc...he hasnt had a bad game this season and he monstered Cesc when Liverpool played Arsenal.

Its debatable right now because Scholes is injured, but last season, Scholes contributed more to Man Utd than what Cesc has contributed for Arsenal this season.

Try again...My point is that Cesc does defend as he is a CM but Scholes most of what he does is play behind Carrick.I mean everytime you watch Arsenal Cesc is playing a throughball near the box.

I agree with your comment on #1. Ronaldo is the best player in the world right now. Though I'll say that he does slack off a bit under pressure.

Drogba has a poor scoring record? That's news to me.

Fabregas is good but does not merit a #3 spot.
