I assume you missed the last season? Your complaint should be about Gerrard making a lot of the lists based on this season when he has clearly been below par.

I watched most of last season...Gerrard was a bit disappointing, but he still was able to lead Liverpool to third place and the Final match of UEFA champions league.

While Ronaldo wasn't able to help lead United to the premiership title, FA cup final and champions league semifinal??

Help, yes. Lead, no. Don't get me wrong...he is a great player, and a contributing factor to Man U, but I really don't think he is the best. And I hope your all not just saying that because of his recent award...

To the people Rate C.Ronaldo. #1...LOL at you thats unbelievalble:eek:

Yes hes a great talent but i hate for someone to be that talented, And just act dumb...He gets tapped hits the ground..Everytime he gets touched just alittle He hits the Ground...Sometimes the wind blows too hard, Know what? He hits the Ground....He would be so much better if he stayed on his feet just alittle more than the Ground ya know...Dont have time for whiners Ruins the game...Same for Drogba, Both of these guys have 1good year and everyone jumps on there bandwagon...Next year they might just be Average again. Only time wll tell

TH#14- Best when Fit
SWP#24- Pacey little Fella, Has a hella of a shot
MO#10- Hasnt Played in awhile, Showed Flashes he'll be back
SG#8- Pure Leader, Complete Package

You are certainly a newbie if you think that Carrick is in the top 5 players in the EPL...he wouldnt make the top 30 players in the EPL

As much as this hurts.......

C.Ronaldo (by far)
S.Gerrard
C.Fabregas
Essien
Torres (When he plays)

As for Berbatov.... if he did little more off the ball, rather than jumping up and down and waving his hand around when ever he/sumone losses the ball...then maybe...... but this is top 5, so if your the top players, you'll chase that ball down until you've got it at ur feet...

I think his movement and play off the ball is one of his stronger attributes. He creates tons of space for his teammates (although they fail to utilize it most of the time). He shouldn't complain when his teammates screw up but it has to be frustrating for a player like him to be held back like he is at Spurs.
