Scholes hasn't played much and Cesc has been overshadowed by Hleb most of the season.

Agree with you on Scholes, disagree with you on Cesc. Fabregas has overshadowed the excellent job Hleb has been doing. Both were playing well, but they have gone down recently along with the rest of the Arsenal squad.

Cesc scores the goals, so he gets the glory. Hleb has been good this year though. Much like Stevie G/Torres get the glory, but almost every LFC fan will say that Mascherano has been just as important as Torres this season. Even though they both kind of went a little mental today.

Cesc has had a great scoring season, especially compared to his last season, but I think hleb is the main reason arsenal have surpassed people's expectations this year, by opening up space for adebayor and cesc to score and he has done a great job linking midfield play to the strikers.

Especially early in the season when Hleb was playing centrally behind Adebayor. Even though they sacrificed some quality on the right flank with Eboue it still meant that Hleb was used in his natural position which meant he could perform to his best. Maybe Wenger should revert back to that system and ditch the 2 strikers...even if Adebayor's finishing is almost as worse as Rooney's.

Exactly Hleb was a lot more dangerous playing behind the striker and attacking through the middle, instead of playing out in the wing

I thought that Arsenal as a team looked more dangerous because Hleb played the support striker/linkman role much better than Van Persie does when he plays up front and drops deep into space.

I wasn't saying the Cesc has been better than Hleb, but the casual viewer it seems like he is more important/better. Mainly because he scores more goals and sets up more goals.

I can't think of any better players this year than Ronaldo, Kaka has been poor, Messi has shown glimpses but nothing amazing consistantly, they are his only 2 real rivals.
