Courteous as well.
It's common courtesy really. Not a big fan of you as a poster, but I try to be polite to most people, because your clearly not a nitwit troll or anything of that nature.
I just don't think Rio is that great of a player, he's good. He is important to your team, that's fine and true. But to rate him as the best player in the Prem is a bit much, no? I don't think he is the best player on your team. He is one of the top ten players (maybe top five) in the Prem, but not the best.

To be fair the thread title says ' ...to you'. So it's about personal opinions. As such no-one can be right or wrong.
You can get an idea about poster's favourite players, bias and sanity though! ;)

I would much rather give Ferdinand credit as one of the five best players in the EPL than list five attacking players, which is absurd.

Yeah it'd be a Big Four again if Rafa either got smarter or got the sack. Their players are good albeit a bunch of slimy scum.

Its funny you've got posters, from rival teams, defaming Rafa Benitez. I guess its in your best interest to do just that. But, Benitez, when you consider his limited budget, has done remarkably well with quite a few spare-part players.

Yes and that's why a majority of the Liverpool supporters want to see Rafa stay. We feel he is going in the right direction with the club.

Thankyou.:)
Liverpool have spent alot though over the past year. I think the key for Liverpool is that Rafa has started to learn that rotating so many players week in week out is not the way to bring a ttle to Anfield. If you look at the last 5 matches or so the lineup changes have been minimal, he seems to be fielding what I believe is our best line up barring injured players which is;
-------------Reina-------------
Arbeloa - Carra - Skrtel - Aurelio
--------Alonso - Masch---------
Kuyt--------Gerrard-------Babel
-------------Torres------------
Anyway back to the question.........
To me...in no particluar order....
Gerrard
Torres
Mascherano
C Ronaldo
Fabregas
Yes, you might say i'm biased. Tell me Masch, Torres and Gerrard wouldn't walk into any team in Europe based on their current form:cool:

several of the players Raffa brought in have seriously let him down, I expected more from the likes of Pennant, Kuty, alonsos form and all those players that came and went.
His Rotation system will work once he has a few more squad players that are prepared to show some sack and fight in the epl rather then hide and wait for others to change the game for them.

Forgot Giggs and Keane?
Yes, as much as I don't like to say it you have to include at least one of those two, if not both.

Hahahahahaha...
Benitez has outspend Ferguson during his time in the Premiership. Where has it got him? Take a look at the long list of Spanish imports that he has brought in and consider how many are still at the club. Benitez's transfer record is a poor one, with a handful of notable exceptions.

Torres (22 mil) > Tevez (2 mil loan...probably be about 20 mil when bought)
Babel (11 mil) > Nani (17 mil)
Lucas (6 mil) = Anderson (17 mil)
Xabi Alonso (10 mil) > Carrick (18 mil)
Masch (18 mil) > Hargreaves (18 mil)
Agger (6 mil) = Vidic (7 mil)
Reina (5 mil) > van der Sar (3 mil)
Why do you have to buy such bad players Rafa?...the players in bold are the really bad signings that Rafa has made

I see Grinners89 decided to bite with his usual biased and nonsensical ramblings. It also highlights that he failed to read my post or consider any of the facts in this case. Now despite this having nothing to do with who the top 5 players in the Premiership are I feel compelled to correct some of the nonsense that has been spouted.
The fact remains that since Benitez arrived he has outspent Ferguson and got no closer to winning the Premiership, even finishing a distant 5th place. Despite another season of huge spending Liverpool are still sitting on the same number of points as Everton! I might not be a Liverpool fan but I still know that it is an unacceptable situation to be in. Now Grinners89 will no doubt point to their European record but when you effectively sacrifice your domestic success (by crashing out of cups in the opening rounds and falling miles behind in the Premiership) then that is understandable, notably when your manager has a proven record of rotating (which laughably even a thread on the Liverpool board that was designed to dispell this supposed myth only serves to prove).
Now then let's get back to the topic of transfers. What Grinners89 did above was correctly highlight some of the rare transfer success that Benitez has had. I'll ignore the asinine attempts at comparing said players and their incorrect transfer valuations because it is neither here nor there. For starters I do not wish to bore myself by correcting his usual shite and I already stated that Benitez has had some success with a handful of players. What I am more interested in is Grinners89 taking a look at the vast list of players who are now no longer at the club or not a feature in the first team. It is these players that he should be considering because that is where Benitez has failed. He has spent big but not spend wisely and there is no escaping that fact. Any claims otherwise is a lie.

You and Grinner should take your argument elsewhere. This thread is strictly about people's Top 5 EPL players. Talking about Rafa and his transfers can be done in other threads. Let's not re-enact World Rivalries here and ruin a good thread.

Tevez isn't there on a £2mil loan, its £10mil for 2 seasons. And then your other comparisons are totally off the mark, to suggest that Babel is better than Nani is crazy, neither of them has proved anything this season, both have merely shown their potential so they really should be equal, you have also got the fees wrong with this one aswell.
How can you compare Lucas and Anderson? Lucas is a Defensive style midfielder, Anderson is an Attacking Midfielder.. and Anderson has been FAR more effective this season, Lucas has played rather poorly with only about 3 performances of any note.
Alonso is better than Carrick I agree, and Mascherano is better than Hargreaves, but Hargreaves hasn't played much and Masch is given more freedom to tackle hard as Liverpool are a more defensive team than United.
Vidic is probably the second best midfielder in the division on current form, and in no way is Agger anywhere near close to him, and how you can compare them I don't know.. Agger hasn't played for ages.
Van der Sar are both as good as each other simply, they both have different strengths, but it's impossible to call one better than the other.
Top 5 players currently:Ronaldo, Torres, Fabregas, Flamini, Rooney

All I did was respond to an ignorant and clearly incorrect claim from another poster. It was Grinners89 who started his biased shite, which I again corrected. Perhaps instead of complaining about me you should keep your own house in order? I agree that it is a good thread but if someone posts shite then I will correct it. You being unable to deal with that is not my problem.
