Combine with the news they are in the UEFA Cup, this has to be considered a good week for Man City.

$2m extra in TV revenues and a veteran keeper to replace Schmeichel.

Man city wont be having a long run in Europe if Keegans tactics are anything to go by.

Imagine the $$$ you could have won 5 years ago by betting that MCFC would have Schmeichel as GK, then replace him with Seaman when he retired!

If Beckham stays in Manchester reporters will have two haircuts to do articles on. :D

I guess this means Nicky Weaver is never going to recover from his injuries or Keegan will never regain confidence in him.

Sky Sports online actually had the following headline

"Keegan fills Schmeichel's gap with Seaman"

:D

Next season, when Seaman retires, Kevin will sign David Beasant, then Chris Woods, Gordon Banks, Dino Zoff and Bob Wilson in the following seasons :).

So what's Seaman going to do next season, bat the ball away with his cane?

That's as bad as the cricket announcer saying,:
"The bowler is Holding, the batmen's Willy". :p

I'll never forget when a commentator was forced to admit "...and Allcock must dismiss Windass"!!
