As United fans, we're ingrained with an intense hate for Liverpool. It's fostered and fed and grown over the years, until it's an overgrown mess of thorns and shards of glass.

On the other hand, Chel$ki have bought the title 2 years in a row and have effectively become more hated than Hitler, Osama, and Arsenal, in a relatively short time.

Who do you root for today? Considering they both can't lose.

Again, I'm rooting for a busy day for the physios.

I'm hoping for a Liverpool 1-0 win in normal time with the game resembling a battle scene. No more goals in extra time.

The penalty shootout would consist of plenty of misses with the icing on the cake being Fowler losing it for Pool with the last penalty.

Same 1-0, penalties except Livershyte winning. I really really want to beat them in the CL final. If we get there ourselves of course. It would help put to rest many demons from my childhood.

I like this except I want to see 'Pool go through with A.Hole missing a penalty.

I don't want Chelski to have anything more than the Carling Cup to show for this year. I also think that if they are knocked out of CL, they will be demoralized and just roll over in the PL since I think their utmost priority this year is the CL.

I would like to add that; I want key players from 'Pool to get sent off, late in the game (i.e. Gerrard in minute 119 :p).

Definitely hoping it goes to penalties, lots of injuries and cards. Hopefully Rafa and Moaninho get into a bit of a scuffle on the touchline as well.

When alls said and done I hope Livershite go through. Watching Terry and Lampard crying on each others shoulders will be priceless.

Haha, same childhood scars as me.

I was up till 3am last night lamenting, fretting and thinking the unthinkable, but at the back of my mind I couldn't help but want them to beat an unbearable face of football.

The fear of getting there and losing to them just keeps going round and round in my head and if we both get through it'll even mar my cheer if we were to win the PL.

I also think Mourinho would try and take out our players if he had the opportunity to do so in preparation for the EC. He's sunk to a new low for me and I wouldn't put a single thing past him.

But ultimately I couldn't bear the dippers winning another big-eared tin pot. Which makes it impossible for me to chose.

if we can make it to the finals then i would like to face Liverpool and absolutely crush them.

and yes, like VR i am hoping for a busy day for the physios and lots of yellows and lots of time played in this game. a crushing defeat for Chelsea is key.

Not true. I read that they have their eye on Maldini joining them in 2010 to shore up their backline.

Nothing would make me more satisfied than to beat Liverpool in a European Cup Final.

However, all other scenarios that include us not winning it completely sucks anyways....

It will be quite an accomplishment for the MLS to secure the rights to another player approaching 50...
