Face of Team Melli [Archive]

Hello all

If you'd help me out a tic, I want to have a banner made for my forum and I'd like a player to represent Team Melli (actually Western Asia in general) on it.

I'd originally planned for Kaebi to be that player.

However, I'd like to ask for your opinion, who would you rather see as a representative?

Kaebi, Nekounam or Teymourian?

I'm leaning towards Teymourian at the moment to be honest because of his increasing worldwide exposure. Of course I also like him as a player, his attitude at Bolton has been fantastic.

I would pick nekounam, because on both International and club level, hes always displayed a great performance.

Both Teymourian and Nekounam are great candidates for this. Having a very hard time picking between the two...

Thanks Ferodosi and TxTriathlete. I was hoping for more votes but nonetheless your comments are valuable.

Could you point me in the direction of a website that contains a good range of photos of Nekounam and Teymourian in Team Melli kit? I've had trouble finding good ones.

Nekounam seems to be the clear winner. Even though it does seem someone has tampered with the poll :p

Do you know of a website that keep alot of team melli photos? Just to give the designers some options.

Either Nikounam or Teymourian. They are going thru the same development period and both responding very positively, so it's hard to pick either one and not the other.

Like everyone says, Nekounam or Teymourian but my vote goes to the former because he has accomplished more already. Possibly the most crucial player in a team that is already in the semis of the UEFA and possibly the final in his first season in Spain? That's a lot!

Nekounam or Teymourian are equally the best choices.

On the other hand, do NOT chose Ali Karimi or Ali Daie (in one of your futur banners?), or you'll face the wrath of millions of Iran posters. Thanks.

hehe, I was well aware of the situations around Ali and Ali. Pity, because Karimi could have been great.

The only other player in the reckoning was Kaebi but since he's gone off to the U.A.E, I think Nekounam has won this hands down from what I gather here.
