So who is the top team in the MLS these days??
I thought that DC united were on the verge of being great when they tried to sign Gazza .I suppose they were scared that he would take the piss far too much ,so they avoided buying the loveable geordie.
So who is the best team in the MLS??
which team will win the MLS world series and be crowned world champions???
I cant decide ,so what do the fans think???

I went for the Red Sox, it's the only way that they will ever be "world champions" ever again!
It really says something when fans of a league boast that they think their league is better than the SPL.

It's on TV a bit with Channel 5 showing 2 games a week and I think SKY show some postseason games, albeit the games are during the middle of the night in European time zones so any normal person has to tape it and the audiences are hardly high enough to score a rating. If you get interested, you can obviously follow it up on American sports websites to fill in the gaps in your knowledge.
But the overall awareness is still very low, I think it just means that sports fans anywhere are more likely to know about another country's sports than the general population.

we're talking about Major league soccer!
The worlds best SOCCER league.
Boston red sox are heading the poll at the moment so they could well be the worlds greatest soccer squad.

Cincinatti? Where the hell is Cincinatti? On the boot of Italy?
Acutally, in honor of the total void of sports soon to exist in Canada, I think the Montreal Expos will win.

No Galaxy in the poll?
I dont like the playoff system in MLS.
8 out of 10 teams can make it to playoff?? that means only 1 team from division wont make it.
It makes season games meaningless.

Why do some English fans feel the need to denigrate MLS? I mean if the English started up a professional basketball or baseball league, I think Americans would be curious and even supportive. Yet sinner_ronald_monk gleefully derides a young and improving league. Is it because he fears the inevitable result? Don't worry sinner, there are many countries better at soccer than England, one more won't hurt too much.

I thought stuff like wife-beating was perfectly normal for americans .
Thats what I heard on the Jerry springer TV show.
Is that show accurate??? I think it is.
