And the new Predators come out 12/15.

the line of preds comes out then?? i was thinking feb 08, but thats close enough I guess.

i'm on board with the new colorway. I really like it. and it will match one of my indoor teams tops. I'm a big absolute fan now... for the right price, so these will probably be copped....

Right. Based on the pics of van Bommel's Preds in the old thread (and out of boredom) I have come up with SKIZZ's impression of the new Predator Skizz. (Well it won't be called that, but meh).

The grey area at the front is the Vamps. They have a sort of Pulse/Mania look to them methinks. The tongue is large like the Mania, but I couldn't find one to add to the pic.

I actually liked the mania vamps better than the abs and the pulses.

The thing is, somehow I think adidas lost sight of the point of the vamps. I was looking at the Predator 1s and 2s earlier, looking at those vamps compared with the Abs and Pulses is quite funny! Unless some new technology came along, which I quite doubt.

The mock-ups I made do look quite funky though!

Yeah, the vamps used to be really big and with TEXTURE. Now's its boring and just not cool.

It just seems that the whole point of Predators has changed now. The things they marketed before aren't really selling points anymore because, well, most sane people don't believe that some big arse ruffled plastic bits will make you a better footballer.

I demand a Green/Black or Green/White Predator colorway! Green boot with black or white accents please, black preferred.

The fact that the V1s and Tunits had green colorways almost made me abandon Absolutes, I really want green boots for some reason. It might be some latent thing from when I was 11 and had a pair of green suede Pumas(ya know, the ones every kid had in the mid 90s).

Enough of that tangent...

I don't really like the new colorway. I'd prefer a black tongue, just not a big fan of the white tongues.

Thats Daniel Bilos, he used to play for Boca Juniors and argentina now he plays for America in mexico. judging by the tongue and the vamps that are kinda hard to see, i believe they are.

Yes they are - they have the longer Predator tongue that I described, and they are the same blacked out boots Mark van Bommel has been training in.

I think they used orange because that's one of the only colors they haven't used on absolutes yet.

Nope, they use the orange because the 2007-2008 CL ball will have orange stars

considering that in March 11, 2007 he had blackout Legends i found it quite hard that he has the next gen preds (but who knows...?)
