I've been kinda wondering who Harry Osborn's character is supposed to be. Is he going to be referred to as the Green Goblin or as something else? Also, his costume looks kinda weird, although I guess it doesn't look as cheesy as his father's in the first film.

Also anxious to know how much of Venom we actually get to see. I've heard reports that he's more of a segue into a 4th film and has very little to do with the movie while I've read other stuff that says the Sandman is a minor character while Venom is the primary villain.

Either way, I'm psyched to see what's gonna happen. I hope Raimi doesn't call it quits after this one. Kirsten Dunst apparently doesn't wanna keep doing the Spidey movies, especially if Raimi and Tobey don't keep doing it.

I understand Gwen Stacy will be in it, which is a bit strange.

My guess is that Topher Grace will be in a supporting role as Eddie Brock, and only at the very last moment will he become Venom, as a lead in to a possible fourth movie (or even a Venom spinoff). I would be very surprised if he were the primary villain! Pleased, but surprised.

Oh yeah. Especially since part of one the previews shows...

...a clip of an action sequence with her falling from a building...

...which means I'm reading absolutely nothing official about the film before I see it, cos there's no way I'm going to let that be spoiled for me.

Woah! I just saw a TV ad featuring Venom. It would appear that my first guess was wrong; Venom is really going to be in this movie!

My guess is, Harry Osborne will take the role his father had in the comic book regarding Gwen Stacy.

I assume that Peter and Mary Jane will break up due to the negative influence of the black costume; then Peter will start dating Gwen.

Can't wait. I've seen the previous 2 films on opening night, looking to keep the tradition going.

Last year, in Mexico I read/heard that there will be another villian that appears in the film.

If you ask me I'd imagine it happens at the end, giving some room for another installment.;)
His role has increased from the first film where he was simply mentioned to actually appearing in the second film, if you are looking for a hint.

Actually, in this movie Gwen is supposed to have the hots for Spider-man, in a delusional kind of way, and Brock has the hots for Gwen and doesn't like Parker anyway. All kinds of problems are brewing.

The Lizard... we've already seen his human persona.

It's like they're taunting us. At least he's already missing an arm, though.

I'm seeing it tonight at midnight, but I think I'm going to go ahead and preemptively state that this movie is ********ing awesome.

Call it an educated guess.

Just got back from a matinee. I liked it a lot! A lot of funny moments which the audience I was with found very humorous. And a lot of twists and turns which were interesting. Loved the part where the "bad Peter Parker" was strutting down the street and was mackin' on the hotties :)

That was awesome. :D

I thought the movie overall was very good. There was a lot going on, but I think it was all handled well.

Topher Grace wasn't given a whole lot to do, but he was fine.

Thomas Haden Church really did look like a tormented convict. Although I do wonder where's he's wandered off to.

It's a shame about Harry, cos the 2 on 2 fight was incredible. Heck, all the new Goblin effects were great.

The Stan Lee cameo was funny.

I wasn't even thinking about this heading in, but now I feel deprived: to be introduced into something as gorgeous as blonde Bryce Dallas Howard and then see her so sparsely is a crime. Especially when she's placed next to the pipe cleaner that is Kirsten Dunst. Also, I'm happy she didn't break her neck.
