America won hanging by a string but also due el culero ref. de ruiz nullifying what looked like a legit goal to me in the first half by rodrigo lopez.

Ochoa proved why he is the ONLY mexican nominated among the top 50 players in the world, thats right, its not guardado, not nery, not giovanni or vela or marquez. Ochoa is the real deal and the defense kept feeding off his energy and security!!! not hating on the above mentioned just pointing out how good this guy is and why he is being recognized.

Cuervo rojas, davino and Villa were amazing last night, I give them and Ruso Brailovski alot of credit for the timely substitutions he made and having to deal with a guy like cabañas go down and get hurt. I honestly have to say that this Vasco da gama team along with Millonarios is the best i had seen play in Sudamericana and for America to have advanced past these guys will give them ALOT of confidence not only in the rest of sudamericana but the liga. This new guy silva looks to have alot of potential and i liked the fact ruso had the confidence to start this guy and all the other youngsters in such a tough game. This game will make them grow big time!

Well luckily for us Mexicanos we still have chivas with a chance to advance tonight and NOMORE brasilian teams left in the competition, those are the ones that always complicate things for us, I really like our chances and will like them even more if chivas can get past arsenal tonight!

Chivas will need to score early and look for the 2nd score as well, I dont think they can play like they did against DC united a few weeks back and expect to win, or score one goal and then relax and bunker! they need to look for an early goal and then a second one to control the game otherwise I see a chivas disqualification in a 1-1 tie or by Pk's.

Congrats to Millonarios as well, knocking out Sao Paulo is NOT something that happens very often, they are playing great footie and that will be an excellent semifinal wether they face River or Defensor.

Yes indeed that was a break when they tied up the game! that was the ONLY shot on goal the entire first half for chivas and honestly una "chiripa" but mang pinche michell and mejia ********ed up on those 2 goals one each, Pineda es una basca!!! he does nothing more than get the ball and right away get rid of it as if it was HOT potatoe! Oh yeah and foul on almost every single play.

I agree this game is all but OVER!!! if chivas had managed to tie the game before half i would still be confident but not having to score 2 in 45 minutes when they couldnt even create that many goal opportunies in the first 45.

Pina arellano should have started, Oh MAZA do I miss him now!!!! the entire defense esta echa una basca and well i think chivas came into this game sleepwalking, or believing the hype and this argie teams have nothing to lose and everything to gain and everyone is finding out about that.
