I am looking for a place in Los Angeles, most likely a bar/pub where i can watch international soccer live. I am most interested in seeing EPL games live and Champions League games live with a large group of interested people. Thanks for anybodys help.

If none of the British pubs in Santa Monica show games, I'd be very surprised

If he's arriving at 2pm by the time he fetches his bags the game'll be half over.
It's on ESPN2, so unless the Cubs are playing that afternoon I'm sure an airport bar will show it.

Lucky Baldwins in Pasadena always has EPL games on, no matter what time. They have another location in Sierra Madre. There is also a pub in Pasadena called Brits or something on Colorado that shows games.

Building on the previous post. I really need your advice on watching soccer in LA.
I must watch the UEFA Cup final on 05/14. The problem is that my flight is landing at 11:15 LA time while the game is starting at 11:45 LA time. Considering the time that I will need to rent a car, I have to find something that is not too far from airport.
I've never been to LA, therefore any valuable advice is very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Santa Monica is probably closest from LAX. There are a couple "British" bars over there. Go to the Setanta North America site and they have a search engine for pubs that show their stuff. The game is on Fox Soccer Channel here so if they have Setanta they will have that -- then call. Now I hope you are supporting Zenit and not the bad guys:D

Is there any place on this site that discusses where to watch football in different American cities? If not, where would be the best place for me to ask? Thanks!

LB put together a nice list and all of those places should be showing it. I would, however, recommend taking it in at the Cock & Bull Pub, which is my favorite venue for footy watching in LA. It's a bit of a Liverpool pub (which partially explains my affinity for it) but they show every EPL, CL, FA Cup, and UEFA Cup game live, even the 4:45am PT kick-offs.
Good selection of beers on tap as well. And, while it won't be easy to make it there in time for kick-off, LAX isn't too far. If you were to shoot for Pasadena, you might make it if the game went into extra time.
So yeah, go to Cock & Bull.

You should post this in the La Galaxy (or Chivas) "NSR" thread. I did this for Liverpool games on Setanta Sports in the Columbus NSR and got plenty of results.
